Review: Belgian DJ duo 2ManyDJs make their music under the Soulwax alias. Whenever they do, it is arresting, seriously quality stuff. For this one the multi-genre mash up artists look to remix 'Cliche' by Charlotte Adigery and Bolis Pupul for the French label Because Music. Their first version is a typically textured, raw, ravey indie-techno workout with rugged beats and sleazy vocals lit up by bright strobes. After the instrumental comes 'Ceci N'Est Pas Un Cliche' which is a macho disco stomper with sliding hi hats and low-slung bass.

Review: More gossamer smooth disco electro soul from Ed Banger's biggest lothario, "You Should Know" is a steamy mid tempo number that's just as rich in emotion as it is groove. As with all Breakbot numbers, there's a wealth of remixes to complement its romantic tendencies... Busy P and Boston Bun get all jacking and loopy, Homework Le Bain throw down a classic NY piano house version, The Swiss gets all rainbow Italo and Le Family serve up a slippery synth bass groove over some classic US garage beats. Review: If there was ever a duo with the bombast and flair to pull off the 18-minute electro-rock-opera, it's surely Justice. Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay created Planisphere in the wake of conquering the world with their debut album Cross, initially for use on the catwalk but subsequently shared on their MySpace. Of course such releases now attain a kind of cult mythos, and Planisphere is no exception. In the Ed Banger era of dirty French touch, this is a fans dream come true - the gnarly monster that keeps on giving, now pressed up on a single side of vinyl for continuous listening, with a classy etching on the reverse.
