Notes: The Chance is a random voltage generator and noise source. Its digital architecture allows for a fresh take on what random voltage can be. Four unique algorithms provide classic signals like smooth and discrete, while the wavetable and blend outputs take full advantage of its microcontroller core, utilizing lookup tables, and digital interpolation to create a one-of-a-kind modulation source.
Upon each successive clock pulse, coin toss seeds all outputs with new randomly chosen values. Freeze stops everything in its tracks and holds each output at its current state. After countless hours, the Chance will continue to surprise with new, unbelievable improvisations.
New and improved version of the Qu-Bit Chord - 14HP
Notes: Polyphony is back!
Chord v2 is a plug and play solution for bringing musical polyphony to your system. It contains four oscillator voices, a multitude of waveforms, and intelligent tuning functionality. This new version features an expanded sonic palette and feature set in half the size of the original.
It features three primary modes of operation: Chord, Free Running, and Unison. These three modes allow the oscillators to be tuned as diatonic chords, run independently of each other, or be tuned to the same internal frequency for external v/oct sequencing through independent CV inputs.
The timbral possibilities of the Chord v2 bring its polyphonic tones to life. The module ships with eight banks of waveforms encompassing traditional shapes, vocal synthesis, organ emulation, and chiptune sounds. You can also load custom wavetables using the SD card slot on the front panel.
From harmonic drones to Switched On Bach, the Chord v2 is an unparalleled addition to any Eurorack modular.
Changes from v1:
- Half the size! 14HP down from 28HP
- Eight banks of waveforms
- Full polyphonic mode
- Harmonize in minor mode
- Custom wavetable compatibility
- Expanded chord types
- Improved synthesis engine
Quad envelope generator with looping, CV over attack/decay & unique chaining capabilities
Notes: Contour is a quad envelope generator. Each channel has looping, CV over attack and decay, as well as unique chaining capabilities. This makes for the creation of complex modulation patterns with a minimum amount of trigger sources. Cycle times range from 5ms all the way to 20 minutes, providing an extremely wide range. In addition to its full feature set and four channel architecture, the ergonomic interface makes it ideal for performance scenarios.
Sequencer synth module in Eurorack format - 10HP wide
Notes: Octone is a sequencer designed with the creation of music in mind. Tonality, rhythm, and rests are all built into this powerful module.
The pitch output can be quantized to one of the pre-defined scales or unquantized, allowing for the creation of microtonal melodies. Scales are easily selected via a button and will save between power cycles; no more menu diving or edit functions needed! Analog portamento can also be applied to the pitch output, providing a smooth glide between notes.
In addition to the extensive control of pitch, gate programming has never been easier. Each step of the sequencer has an associated gate out which can be used for effect throws or timbre modulations for each note in your melody. There is also a customizable global gate out, allowing for the inclusion of rests and repeats to your sequence.
With the combination of powerful pitch and gate controls, the Octone is the ideal sequencer for crafting tonal melodies with intricate rhythmic patterns.
Multi-dimensional signal processor with stereo inputs & outputs
Notes: Prism is a multidimensional signal processor that creates a framework for the spectral metamorphosis of any input signal. This stereo audio buffer can be navigated through on 3 axes, each of which provides a different sonic journey through its array of time based controls.
The X and Z planes are home to a flexible delay line capable of long clocked delays, slapback echo, or comb filtered vocoder-esque timbres. On the Y axis is the decimate control. This sets the audio fidelity of the buffer by manipulating the sample rate and bit depth of the output. A state variable filter with configurable low pass, high pass, and band pass outputs can be enabled at the beginning or end of the signal chain providing yet another dimension of spectral transformation. And thanks to its digital architecture, the current buffer contents can be locked in place with the Freeze control, creating glitch and beat repeat effects which can be synced to an external clock source.
The Prism blurs the lines between DSP effect, filter, and looper and transcends into a new realm of uncharted audio processing.
Notes: Pulsar is a burst generator inspired by stars that output beams of electromagnetic radiation in space. Once keyed, a stream of triggers are dispersed across four outputs. Environmental factors like absorb and gravity alter the behaviour of each burst and affect its movement through time. Eight unique dispersion modes provide a range of stream types including Euclidean, binary, random, and fractal. Galactic clocks for the Eurorack system.
Notes: Synapse is a crossfading switch with a signal path that can be rearranged on the fly. Its dynamic routing and mixing functionality make it capable of turning static waveforms into evolving soundscapes.
The core of Synapse is comprised of four crossfade circuits chained to a sequential switch, all under digital control. This enables many intelligent behaviours that aren't possible in the analogue domain. Crossfade positions can be saved in up to eight memory locations for easy recall. These let you create sections within your patch, and travel through them with a single knob - all without repatching. In addition, the switch outputs can be rotated left, right, or randomized, enabling unique spatialization of sounds through effect chains, filters, or other mixers.
Synapse can process CV signals just as well as audio and even generate its own adjustable DC voltage for modulation. A configurable +5V DC offset is normalled to each B input, allowing it to function as a four step sequencer or eight stage stored voltage source without needing any additional modules.
