Notes: Another update for WMD's clever dual VCA, this time a little bigger to give more control. Digital control of CV and attenuation gives lots of creative options. Third time's a charm.

Supplier's Notes:
WMD have done several designs of this circuit over the years, the first one had no knobs, the second was too small, the MKIII is finally how this circuit should be packaged. This module does some really cool stuff and is super useful in any system.

The Digital VCA lets signal through like a normal VCA, but the CV and attenuation level is controlled digitally. This lets us do things like wait until there is a zero crossing to change the amplitude, resulting in clickless amplitude changes.

The Trigger mode causes the VCA to only update when a trigger is received. The addition of a noise circuit for each side let us do a very quick and easy sample and hold that never droops. With no input, 5V is normaled to the attenuator, so you get a 0-5V sample and hold. In Bipolar mode, you can get -5 to +5V.

Both sides have bipolar VCA mode (polarizer), which lets them invert the signal when negative CV comes in. Also known as ring modulation. With the zero crossing detector, this can produce some super wild wave shapes.

Notes: The Rene music synthesizer module is a powerful three-dimensional prism of composition. It is the world's only 3D Cartesian Music Sequencer. Named for the French philosopher & mathematician Rene Descartes, it uses the Cartesian coordinate system to unlock the analogue step sequencer from the shackles of linearity. The original Rene was a one-channel, two-dimensional Cartesian sequencer with limited memory, this new Rene is a three-channel, three-dimensional Cartesian sequencer with memory for up to 64 complete States. Considering the multiple channels and FUN programming options per multiple axis, Rene has become an n-dimensional matrix or tesseract of synthesizer sequencing.

Notes: MMF is an analogue, multimode filter with a 12dB per octave slope. Its sonic character swings all the way from classic low pass to squelchy acid lines. Simultaneous outputs of low pass, high pass, and band pass filter types are provided allowing for many variations of the input signal. Whether you're looking for smooth and creamy, or resonant and wild, MMF can go there.

Notes: The next generation 12 stage, analogue multi tap Phaser, which is a development of, and replacement for, our earlier MegaPhase 12 unit. It includes all the features of the MegaPhase 12 and is also built around the circuitry of the superb sounding EH Smallstone Phaser, which was used to such great effect on synthesisers and string machines by J M Jarre on his early albums. It has the same versatile Stage and Emphasis stage switching, and the same configuration of stereo outputs, where the left channel is taken from the Stage switch, and the Right output from the Emphasis Stage Switch.

New features include independent Level Controls for Input 1 and Input 2, and a Phase "Colour" Control, which can lighten or darken the phasing effect. We have also used much lower noise internal VCA's and low noise audio op-amps along with a four layer PCB design, so that the S/N ratio is improved and the noise floor is considerably reduced compared with the previous MegaPhase 12 phaser. Like its predecessor it occupies 18HP of Eurorack space.

Notes: This 30HP wide module features twelve fixed frequency, inductor based bandpass filters, set at half octave interval spacing and covering from 125 Hz through to 5.8kHz. It also features low pass and high pass shelf filters, again they are fixed frequency and both are active inductor based circuits. It has a vintage pedigree that harks back to the original and highly sought after 914 Fixed Filter bank from the 1960's Moog 900 series modular synthesiser system, however we have brought this design up to date and made it compact enough to fit into skiff friendly Eurorack cases by using gyrator based active inductors, and have added some other very useful features too - the bands are split alternatively to left and right channels, each having their own individual output, and there is also an inbuilt Voltage Controlled cross-fader that allows panning between the left and right banks, with a mix of all bands available in the central position.

In addition, we have a second cross fader that can mix between the dry incoming signal, or an external signal fed into input 2, and this is cross-faded against the wet MIX Output - this allows Voltage Controlled crossfading from wet to dry signals, or between wet and external signals - and the level of each can be adjusted using the Input 1 and Input 2 level controls.

A further addition is the feedback control, this is similar in design to the resonance control on a regular VCF, but because of the multiple fixed filters topology it is rather different in operation - it would normally be added in small amounts to thicken up the sound, however we have allowed the feedback to traverse to quite extreme settings for howling feedback and even soft clipped self-oscillation, especially for the noise merchants out there...

Using L/C inductor topology bandpass circuits rather than the usual Sallen Key R/C active bandpass filters does give a slightly different sound and this is part of the magic of the original 914 filterbank, as the LC based circuit exhibits less phase shift against frequency that the more common Sallen Key R/C based bandpass filters that are used in many Modular synths.

Many people often wrongly assume that a fixed filter bank is exactly the same as a graphic equaliser - however this is certainly not the case, if all of the controls of a graphic EQ are set to centre then a flat frequency response is expected and the output will sound very similar, or identical to the input - this does not happen with a fixed filter bank, the frequency response rises and falls as it passes between each stage (but to a lesser extent than if the filters are all set to maximum output), so it acts as a soft slope comb filter, and the resulting output sounds very different from the input signal. Also, with all of the individual filters turned to zero there will be no output at all.

Notes: The original MiniMod Glide +Noise module was based exactly on the original Minimoog Model D circuitry, which was designed to be used with the built in Model D keyboard, and because of its vintage design its range was severely limited to 5 or 6 octaves, and it also responded to positive voltages only. Another limitation was that it would not return fully to zero when selecting long glide times, which restricted the range even more.

So we made the decision to re-design the MiniMod Glide + Noise using modern precision parts, and we have come up with an all new circuit which has exactly the same function, but with a hugely extended range. It has the same Glide slope characteristic (a slightly curved Linear Glide) as the Model D on which the MiniMod is based, however in response to many requests from customers we have adjusted the glide up and down speeds so that they are now very similar , which is much more useful in real world applications that the earlier MK1 version which (like the Model D) would glide up considerably faster than it would glide down.

The new Mk2 MiniMod Glide Noise module now has an impressive 14 octave range, and can respond to negative voltages down to -5V. This is a very useful feature, as our MiniMod VCO's will respond to negative control voltages and produce correspondingly low frequencies; so it is now possible to glide down quickly or slowly to crazy sub bass levels! The hold feature has been improved too, it covers the full audio range as well as DC control voltages, and works as a track and hold module with Eurorack signal levels.

A further enhancement is that the Mk2 module can now (using selectable jumpers) transmit or receive pitch CV to the Eurorack power bus; for example, the Glide CV Output can now be directed to the Bus in order to send CV's to (for example) three VCO's via the bus without the need for a passive multi and four patch cords!

The Noise section of the module is unchanged, except that we have slightly boosted the level of the Red Noise output to bring it more in line with Eurorack control voltage levels.

Lastly, it is much shallower - Mk1 Glide Noise had a depth of 54mm, and it was the only MiniMod module that was too deep to fit a skiff style case - and this prevented a full MiniMod system being installed into a shallow Eurorack case. The new MK2 version is only 28mm deep, so this allows both it and a full MiniMod system to be mounted into shallow skiff style Eurorack cases.

Notes: Metron is a 16-channel trigger and gate sequencer for Eurorack with extensive functions, expansion possibilities and the tools you need to create long sequences with many variations in a very short time.

The sequencer allows pattern lengths of up to 256 steps, and the number of steps per channel can be varied to create interesting and varied rhythmic structures. These patterns can be quickly stored and exchanged between units via the SD card slot. Metron also offers a random function per step and a ratcheting function.

With the optional WMD Voltera, Metron can be expanded with four additional bipolar voltage outputs.

Notes: Play is a high-fidelity sample player with a full feature set.

Up to 32 samples can be loaded at a time and dynamically switched between using the file knob and associated CV input. Playback modes include one-shot, looping, or gated playback; all with extremely low latency. Transform your samples by pitching them up two octaves or down three octaves, all with a pitch knob that can be free running or quantized to semitones. The pitch CV input tracks volt per octave across its entire range and allows for musical sequencing of samples. Play ships with a pre-loaded SD card packed with loops, drum hits, and field recordings to get you up and running immediately.

Notes: Module A-183-9 is a simple power supply for up to four devices which can be powered via USB (e.g. keyboards, smartphones). An LED shows is the +5V are present.

The module has no USB function but provides only the +5V supply for USB devices.

Note: The module requires an A-100 case with built in power supply A-100PSU3. Only this A-100 supply has the required +5V available. We do not recommend the usage of an older A-100 case with A-100PSU2 as this would require the +5V adapter A-100AD5 and the max. current would be limited to 100mA.

Notes: Kickall is a 6HP compact synth voice that features everything needed to make a big fat Kick sound. A stable VCO that tracks V/Oct, a couple of VCAs, envelopes for volume and pitch and an aggressive waveshaper.

The module has been designed with a kick synthesis patch in mind.

The audio path consists of a sinewave oscillator that passes across a Square Waveshaper and two VCA's. The first VCA is for the Volume envelope. The second VCA is dedicated to general volume. Thanks to his CV input, it is possible o apply accents or affects the dynamics of notes. Feeding this input with audio generates a basic AM operation expanding the sonic range of the module.

In the control path, KickAll has two envelope circuits to modulate the first VCA oscillator's pitch. Both envelopes are fired at the same time manually or via dedicated trigger input.

Through its Tune input, KickAll tracks eight octaves with high accuracy. Plug your favourite sequencer or CV source to create patterns out of the kick range, or feed it with an audio signal, for frequency modulation Fx.

Notes: Additive synthesis oscillator based on the concept of building up harmonics from sine waves. A complex idea nicely executed for ease of use.

Odessa implements the principle of additive synthesis controlled by a set of carefully tailored macro parameters to harness thousands of sinusoidal partials that altogether form the resulting sound.

The interface is kept simple and accessible, so you can easily build rich and full, great sounding timbres of very complex spectra, that can be either harmonic or inharmonic. Even though inharmonic spectra yield non-periodic waveforms, all partials are frequency related to the common fundamental controlled by a V/oct input. The series of harmonics can be squeezed or spread apart, tilt, and pruned by a comb-like frequency response, resulting in a variety of unearthy sounds. Animating the comb response yields radical effects similar to flanging and phasing. Additional, often sought after features are implemented: through-zero linear frequency modulation, and unison detune: up to 5 copies of the sound can be spread apart for a fat and dense cluster of voices.

There are nine parameters, each controlled by a dedicated knob, so the workflow is as smooth and immediate as possible. Furthermore, every parameter has a dedicated CV input, allowing live animation for organic audio effects. Odessa sports two main outputs for banks of harmonic partials that can be further scaled in frequency, as well as an additional output that can either spit out a square wave or a single sinusoid of the fundamental frequency. Interesting spatial effects, crazy modulation feedbacks as well as synchronisation is possible that way.

The hardware is based on a powerful FPGA chip offering massive parallel computing. The synthesized signal is devoid of aliasing through the entire audio range thanks to intrinsically bandlimited algorithm. A simplified spectral analyser helps you to keep a visual track of what is actually happening to the harmonics.

For even more control over Odessa, you can use the Leibniz subsystem (or just the Lipsk) that can be connected to a header at the back of the module.

Notes: The Multi-Delay Processor is a creatively usable echo effect with eight taps. The module's sound may remind you of classic bucket-brigade devices. - It even generates distinctive pitch effects when altering the delay time. An input mixer gives audio material a crisp, analogue character. Thanks to feedback channels with pitch shifter and reverb processor, shimmering echoes and other atmospheric effects can be achieved. A total of nine envelope followers and 14 audio outputs invite you to do extensive feedback patches and other edgy experiments.

The Multi-Delay Processor isn't just a high-quality echo effect but was designed to be a fundamental ingredient of patches. Its core is a bank of eight digital delays, which are wired in series. Together, the circuits form a multi-tap echo. The volume of each signal repetition as well as the raw material can be adjusted via faders. Furthermore, there are individual audio and envelope follower CV outputs for the dry signal and all taps. An analogue clock is used to control the echo circuits. The delay time can be set manually via a potentiometer plus there are two CV inputs with bipolar attenuators. Altering the delay time parameter during operation leads to pitch effects. At this point at latest, you'll realize the superiority of the serial memory design used by Mark Verbos over average effect chips. Despite its digital core, the Multi-Delay Processor offers charming sound reminiscent of a classic bucket-brigade device. - Only cleaner and more transparent.

A three-channel mixer with dedicated level potentiometers adds analogue character to signals before they are fed to the delay circuits. Without patch cables plucked into the second and / or third input, you can use these channels as feedback paths with additional effects. In detail, a pitch shifter calibrated to +1 octave (channel 2) and a reverb (channel 3) are available. - A perfect setup for creating shimmering echoes and other atmospheric effects. High feedback values make the module self-oscillate. In contrast to the multi-tap delay, which consists of individual components, an FV-1 chip is used for pitch shifting and reverberation. This processor is well-known, as it is the main component of multi-effects modules like the Erica Black Hole DSP and numerous guitar pedals. Here, the FV-1 is "just" a creative addition to the main effect.

In addition to the manual mix output, which emits the mixture of raw and effect material dialled in via the faders, there are four other audio outs. Two of these connectors provide signals derived from summing up all even respectively odd taps. The other sockets emit preset mixes with increasing or decreasing level. - Very cool for quickly creating special effects.

Notes: The Falistri is a fully analogue multi-purpose movement manager designed to generate and edit voltages to easily accomplish any patch.

The module can be divided into two big parts: in the upper two-thirds of the panel take place two specular function generators, while the lower third is composed of a dual cascaded frequency divider, a linear slew limiter, and a four-quadrant multiplier.

Notes: Erica Synths Bassline is fully analogue synth voice module for ultimate basslines and leads.

It features AS3340 VCO with three waveforms, a filter inspired by Erica Synths Acidbox and unique features - transistor based suboscillator and two BBD lines that emulate VCO detune creating a sound of massive polysynth from one oscillator.

Accent provides more expression to the bassline, by adding volume and opening the VCF slightly.

Notes: Erica Synths Black Hole DSP 2, an updated version of Black Hole DSP features 24 custom effects, designed in close co-operation of Erica Synths team rider KODEK and creator of SpinCAD software Gary Worsham. Each effect has 3 manually and CV controllable parameters, manual and CV control over sampling frequency for spanning from 48kHz to really Lo-Fi crunchy sound and full analogue dry/wet control. All effect parameter settings can be saved to the memory and instantly recalled with the effect, which makes Black Hole DSP II ideal for live performances.

Notes: Module A-103 is a voltage controlled low pass filter with 18dB/octave slope. The circuit is based on a modified transistor ladder (Moog ladder) and is a reproduction of the legendary TB303 filter.

As for the rest the A-103 is identical to the A-120 Moog low pass filter (same controls, inputs/outputs) only the filter sound is different.

Notes: Module A-115 is a four-way frequency divider. The frequency of a signal at the input is halved (half frequency = first sub-octave), quartered (1/4 frequency = second sub-octave), and so on. In this way, the DIVIDER produces four sub-octaves (F/2 down to F/16).

At the output, the A-115 produces a summed mix of the original and the four sub-octaves. There are attenuators to control the amount (i.e. Amplitude) of the original signal and each of the sub-octaves.

Bear in mind that the sub-octaves output by the A-115 are all true square waves. At the output there are always four square waves and the original signal available.

Notes: Erica Synths Modulator is an advanced modulation and pitched noise source with focus on rhythmic (but not limited to) compositions in mind. It features two identical syncable to the BPM LFOs/noise sources with selectable morphing waveshapes. LFO frequency can be manually adjustable, as well as they provide frequency divisions and multiplication in Sync mode. Each LFO has two outputs- main one and secondary one with adjustable phase, so you can create evolving modulations. Furthermore, LFOs can be linked to work at the same frequency and the first LFO has built in VCA to control output signal amplitude.

Notes: Erica Synths Cymbals is a distinct topology digital/analogue module, where cymbal samples are passed thru AS3330 based VCA and controlled via envelope generators of unique design. The module features 10 sets of custom Crash and Ride cymbal samples with Tune control and individual Decay control. Accent and CV control over Tone and Decay allow you to create lot of variations in the Cymbals track. An extra feature is sample looping - when it's on, a certain part of the sample is looped while the envelope decay is on, thus creating a distinct, delay-like effect. Cymbal samples are developed by producer and musician Nero Bellum.

Notes: LINK is the module that bridges Eurorack to destop mixers - it has 5 sections that attenuate Eurorack signals to line level signals and sends them to 6.3mm jacks for quality connection to the mixer.

Notes: Pluck is a physical modelling synth voice. It uses the Karplus-Strong algorithm to create plucked string sounds. The dampening control sets the size of the string and allows for dramatic timbral shifts.

The decay control changes note length from percussive transients to infinite harp sounds. In addition, four voice polyphony provides complex layered tones; all from a single sound source.

Notes: A-135-2 is a miniature version of the A-135-1. Behind a front panel with 8 HP only four linear VCAs (voltage controlled amplifiers) and a voltage controlled mixer based on the VCAs are available.

Controls, In/Outputs and Functions of each VCA:

- Level (manual control of the VCA amplification), small rubberized knob (L1...L4)
- Control voltage input with associated attenuator (CV1...CV4), for the full VCA control range about 0...+5V control voltage are required (attenuator fully clockwise), for higher control voltages the attenuator is used, the attenuators are without knobs, just plastic shafts with white marker

- All inputs and outputs are DC coupled. Consequently the VCAs can be used to process both audio and control voltages (e.g. to control the level of LFOs or envelopes)
- The signal input is not equipped with an attenuator. But the VCAs can process all signals up to 15Vpp / -7.5...+7.5V without clipping. In case of higher levels an external attenuator is required (e.g. A-183-1).
- The available amplification range is 0...1, the maximal amplification is 1 (i.e. it "clips" and remains at 1 even if the control voltage goes beyond the value that corresponds to amplification 1)

Functions of the voltage controlled mixers:

- Two outputs ("Selected" and "All")
- Selected output: the ouput if a VCA is removed from this sum signal when a plug is inserted into the corresponding VCA output.
- All output: sum of all VCA outputs, regardless of inserted plugs into the VCA outputs
- The maximal amplification is about 0.6 to avoid clipping at the mixer outputs (otherwise the outputs may distort with 15Vpp signals at each signal input and full amplifications)

Special functions of the voltage controlled mixers (selectable by internal jumpers):

- Dual Stereo VCA: In this case the control unit of VCA1 (L1 + CV1) affects also VCA3 and the control unit of VCA2 (L2 + CV2) affects also VCA4, the control units of VCA2 and VCA4 are out of operation
- Quad VCA: In this case the control unit of VCA1 (L1 + CV1) affects all four VCAs. The control units of VCA2, VCA3 and VCA4 are out of operation. In this mode the module has the same function as module A-132-2. That's why module A-132-2 will be discontinued.
- Normalling of the signal inputs: by means of internal jumpers signal input 1 can be normalled to signal input 2, signal input 2 to signal input 3 and signal input 3 to signal input In 4. That way the same input signal can be distributed to four different channels by means of control voltages (e.g. quadrophonic distribution of audio signals). Suitable control voltage sources are e.g. A-144 (Morphing Controller) or A-143-9 (Quadrature LFO).

Notes: Module A-197-3 is a control unit for RGB LED stripes. The LED stripe is glued e.g. to the inner edges of the cases A-100P6/P9/PMS6/PMS9/PMS12 to illuminate the modules and patching statically or dynamically. Especially during live events the dynamic illumination in sync with the sound is an eye-catcher. Each colour (red, green, blue) has available a manual control for the background brightness and a CV input with attenuator that enables the dynamic brightness controlled by other control voltages of the modular system. For example three envelopes can be used which also control the loudness or filtering of sound processing modules. But even other control applications are possible, e.g. LFO, random voltages, clock/gate/trigger signals, sequencer, Midi-to-CV.

Notes: Sometimes your ears are not enough and you really need to see the sounds and control voltages you are generating. Zeroscope's two channel design lets you display and compare both control voltages and audio. It's a good old fashioned sci-fi light show!

The Zeroscope 1U is an adaptation of the excellent 3U Zeroscope by VPME.DE.

Three Modes Packed Into 1U:

- Scope: Standard graphical display, with time displayed on the X-axis and voltage displayed on the Y-axis.
- X-Y: Alternate graphical display with CH 1 driving the X-axis and CH 2 driving the Y-axis.
- Tune: Alphanumerical tuning display, which you can configure to show either Hz values or note names.

The Scope displays have adjustable display offset for each channel and an adjustable trigger threshold, while the tuner has options for reference pitch and average update speed.
Ins & Outs

The inputs are DC coupled and accept signals between -10V and +10V. The Signal on the input is normalled to the output below; this allows you to monitor or tune a signal without a mult or re-patching.

Notes: Module A-134-2 contains two identical voltage controlled crossfader units.

Each unit has two voltage controlled amplifiers (VCAs) with opposite control behaviour available. The outputs of the two VCAs are mixed together to obtain a common output. The behaviour of the control voltage inputs can be chosen with an internal jumper:

Symmetrical mode: If the corresponding jumper is not set both VCAs of the crossfader have the same 50% amplification with zero CV. If the applied CV becomes positive the amplification of VCA1 decreases and those of VCA2 increases in the same way. A negative CV has the opposite result. The CV voltage range to obtain the maximum/minimum positions of the crossfader is about -2.5....+2.5V. This mode is useful for bidirectional (i.e. positive and negative) control voltages, for example LFO or joy stick (adjusted to 0V CV in centre position).

Asymmetrical mode: If the corresponding jumper is set VCA2 is fully closed and VCA1 has full 100% amplification with zero CV. If the applied CV becomes positive the amplification of VCA1 decreases and those of VCA2 increases in the same way. The CV voltage range to obtain the maximum/minimum positions of the crossfader is about 0...+5V. A negative CV has no function in this mode. This mode is useful for unidirectional (i.e. only positive) control voltages, for example ADSR, ribbon controller or Theremin control voltage.

The CV input of the upper unit (CV1) is normalled to the CV input of the lower unit (CV2). I.e. if no plug is inserted to CV2 the CV input of the upper unit (CV1) also controls the lower unit.

The second signal input of the upper unit (In1B) is normalled to the first signal input of the lower unit (In2A). I.e. if no plug is inserted into In2A the signal In1B is used as the first signal input of the second unit.

As the inputs and outputs are DC coupled the module can be used for both audio and control voltage signal processing.

Notes: The A-138d primarily is used for crossfading between two modular signals. On the other hand you can used it for inserting stompboxes or other effects into your modular system. Both the inputs and the mix output are available twice, like a mini-multiples e.g. for using the input signal also for other applications, kind of like a Thru.

Crossfader: With the crossfading control CF you blend manually between the inputs In 1 and In 2. The Mute switch allows for muting one of the two signals, independent on the crossfader position.

Effect insert: The signal at input In1 is emitted at the FX Send output and can be attenuated with the Atten. control because the modular system works with much higher levels.

The effect unit's output is inserted to the FX Return input socket and its level can be boosted with the Amp. control. The processed signal is available at the bottom in 2 socket.

Use the CF control to blend between the original signal and the effect signal and to mute switch for quick muting e.g. of the effect return signal.

Notes: Erica Synths Black Output is a high-quality output mixer and a stereo panner with balanced outputs and headphone amplifier for monitoring your modular masterpieces.

All inputs are buffered, we use stereo potentiometers (similar to those used in high quality studio mixers) for panning, IN4 is a stereo input with simultaneous level adjustment for both channels, IN3 has a CV controlled auto-pan function. There is also a 6.3mm jack for the balanced outputs and headphones.

Notes: The Listen Four is a four channel stereo mixer with line, modular, and headphone outputs. Two mono channels with Pan knobs and two stereo channels with dual inputs provide optimal compatibility with both stereo and mono signals. The Listen Four can be daisy-chained to other Listen modules to create a larger mixer with sub-mix outputs.

Notes: The Listen Four Quarters is a four channel stereo mixer with 1/4" (6.35mm) TRS balanced outputs and 1/8" (3.5mm) headphones output. Two mono channels with Pan knobs and two stereo channels with dual inputs provide optimal compatibility with both stereo and mono signals. The Listen Four Quarters can be daisy-chained to other Listen modules to create a larger mixer with sub-mix outputs.

Notes: The Listen IO is a simple module which gets signals in and out of a Eurorack system by converting to and from normal modular levels. The top section converts any external signal to modular levels by providing up to 30x gain (+30dB), allowing you to use table-top synthesizers, keyboards, phones/tablets, computers, toys, microphones, etc. in your patches. The bottom section does the opposite: modular signals are converted to normal line level signals. The bottom two jacks can be used as line outs or as headphone jacks, so you and a friend can listen in stereo at the same time.

Each section has two inputs and outputs for use with a stereo signal or two mono signals. An LED bar graph for each output shows the signal level and clipping.

Notes: Scales is an 8hp dual-channel note quantizer and step sequencer. Fundamentally, it takes an input voltage, quantizes it to notes in a user-defined scale, and sends that quantized voltage to an output, where you can use it as a melodic pitch source for oscillators or any other module that expects to see discreet note values at its input.

Scales goes far beyond the fundamental, allowing you unprecedented control of the pitches and intervals hiding inside your control voltages; turn LFO's into arpeggiators; random voltages into harmonic counterpoint; and unquantized external CV sequencers into chromatically tuned note sequencers.

Quantization can be locked to an incoming trigger. There are a number of trigger output options as well, ranging from no triggering (good for pitch shifting drones); through triggers that sync with either of the two outputs (or both); to a trigger or gate transmitted in sync with one sent to the module's TRIG input.

Shift:

Scales features two independent outputs, enabling you to create shifted harmonic intervals within your chosen scale using only a single pitch input. Using the SHIFT input you can modulate changes on OUT A and/or OUT B.

You can also use the shift input to switch between scales or to change the root of any existing scale pattern or split Scales into two quantizers - each conforming to a common scale, but fed entirely different voltage sources.

Sequence:

Scales also features a 128-step SH-101 style step sequencer (complete with storage for up to 35 fully programmable patterns) - allowing you to feed OUT B with sequenced notes and rhythm patterns, while OUT A continues to function as a standard pitch quantizer for external voltages. You can even sync the sequencer to quantizer events on OUT A.

Notes: Steppy is a 4-track programmable gate sequencer with eight internal memory slots, external clocking, numerous tweakable parameters, and a performance-first design aesthetic.

Each track features numerous independent parameters that govern its playback independently of the other tracks. Specifically:

- Each track has its own length, which can range from 1-step to 64-steps, allowing for polyrhythms, fills, or constantly evolving gate interactions between tracks.
- Each track has its own gate length, which ranges from very short to very long, with tied gates possible at the extreme setting.
- Each track has its own clock divider, allowing patterns to play out over completely different periods of time.
- Each track has its own swing setting, which offsets the timing of every other step.
- Each track has its own delay setting, which offsets the timing of every step.
- Each track has its own probability control, which sets the likelihood that each programmed gate will fire when called upon by the pattern.
- Each track can be shifted (or 'rotated') forward or backward by a number of steps. So if you've created a pattern that 'feels' like it has its downbeat on step 3, you can shift that pattern two steps to the left, so that the downbeat sits on step 1.

Tracks can be programmed by entering active steps on the grid or tapped in live as the sequence is moving. Tracks can be selected and modified in real time as the sequence plays. A select button allows you to directly access each track (and each page of 16 steps within that track) directly through Steppy's intuitive multifunction buttons array.

Tracks can be individually muted and unmuted, and a special performance mode (called "Loopy") enables you to touch any two gate steps and instantly create a performance that loops between those steps.

Track patterns can be cleared without clearing its playback parameters, and all track patterns (along with their individual playback and performance parameters) can be saved as a preset to one of eight internal memory slots.

Notes: Stereo effects processing for Tangible's affordable AE modular system. Offers a total of 15 digital effect programs with CV control over three parameters each. Can run in Eurorack via an optional adaptor frame.

Supplier notes:
The MULTIFX module offers 15 different stereo audio FX programs, a wide variety from common FX like reverb and delay to unique effects like Ring Crusher or Glitch delay. Also a nice shimmer effect is onboard.

Each program has 3 parameters that can be adjusted and additionally be CV-controlled.

With a switch the sample rate can be reduced to half the normal rate, resulting in doubling the effect times (with reverb, delay...) and introducing a nice portion of aliasing.

It is based on the FV-1 DSP chip that is well-known from other FX-modules in the Eurorack world; the MULTIFX module offers the 7 factory programs of the chip plus 8 new and unique ones created by Tangible Waves.

Notes: A stereo headphone amplifier for AE modular.

It has separate left/right inputs; via a switch it can be set to mono operation (only left input is used). One common volume control for both outputs.

Two headphones can be attached via 3.5mm stereo minijack sockets.

Notes: 2ENV is a dual attack - decay envelope; it can be switched between full sustain (the output remains at full level as long as the GATE input is on) and zero sustain (for percussive envelopes). Another switch (SLOW/FAST) allows selecting the time range.

For manual triggering there is a button for each envelope.

CV control: Both attack and decay time can be CV controlled; the CV "multiplies" the time by 1...approx. 8 times.

Notes: The NYLE FILTER is an adaption of the Steiner Filter for the AE modular palette. It contains the classic filter curves lowpass/highpass/bandpass with adjustable filter frequency and resonance. The unique feature of this filter type is, that there are separate inputs for lowpass/highpass/bandpass (not separate outputs as with other filters). This allows quite unusual sounds, if different signals are fed into the different inputs.

Each input has its own attenuator; for frequency CV control there are two inputs with individual attenuators. Additionally, the resonance can also be CV controlled!

The sound goes from quite soft filtering with low resonance setting to a quite intense resonance peak to full self-resonance.

Notes: The LOPAG is the lowpass gate module for AE. It is based on a Vactrol (like all good lowpass gates) and has two inputs: IN (audio signal) and TRIG. A pulse on the TRIG input opens the signal path shortly and via the characteristics of the Vactrol the audio signal is filtered and attenuated in a plucked, percussive way. Additional GATE and CV inputs allow more control over the way the module works.

Notes: 4I/O offers four minijack sockets that are connected to the AE sockets for connecting external audio sources, CV's and Eurorack modules. Sockets 1 and 3 are stereo sockets; if a stereo cable is inserted here the signal is available on sockets 1/2 and 3/4. With mono cables the four sockets can be used independently.

All sockets have an overvoltage protection (as AE modular is limited to 5V) and can be switched between audio and DC/CV signals.

Notes: 4ATTMIX offers four input channels which can be level controlled / attenuated by the corresponding knobs. The attenuated signals are sent to four outputs.

Additionally, each channel can be sent to an internal mixer by the switches beside the knobs. The mix signal is then sent to the mix output.

An additional switch selects the general operation mode for the mixer, for DC/CV signals or for audio signals.

Notes: Connect two AE cases with RACKLINK!

The RACKLINK is a module for connecting two AE cases; the kit contains of 2 identical modules and a connector cable (length 50 cm). The modules are placed in both cases and are connected by the cable.

By this, you get the following:

The second case is powered by the first one

All bus lines (CV, GATE, CONTROL, MIDI clock/start/stop) are connected to the second case

Additionally, there are 8 connections that can be freely used; so it is not necessary to have connections between two cases. E.g. the second rack can run a patch for a drone sound, the output is then sent via Racklink line 1 to the first rack and here patched to a mixer, via line 2 the second rack can receive a modulation signal from the first one. The lines are bi-directional!

Notes: This module is best if you need an oscillator for primary musical / melodic use.? It offers:
