Review: Greetings and welcome from Axces. We're a small local Copenhagen community of friends and curious souls. This is our very first record. Alfredo92 and Kasper Marrot run the label, and they've produced two tracks with help from our good friends Carl Emil and Lauge.
The record was created in 2017 at the professional facilities we've come to know as Nordvest Auto. On both tracks, you'll hear a lot of drums, some bass, effects, samples, vocals and sounds from beyond, we don't know how to describe. They've been tested on various sound systems during the past year, and we can ensure you that a flat EQ and max volume will suit the tracks almost anywhere.
We really hope you enjoy our effort. If you should ever find yourself in Copenhagen Axces will provide counselling and guidance at own risk.
Review: No Fuss Records launches their first release in their vinyl series with the mighty Saison. 3 much in demand Saison tracks that have been tried and tested on the dance floor. The North London duo offer their blues inspired Deep House with "SeNor Blues" & "I Need Ya" On remix duties Werkshy flips "Something Made Me" into a mid-tempo disco infused slammer.
Review: Manchester-based DJ/producer Yadava hasn't been releasing music all that long, but what he has put out has been superb. Here he makes his first appearance on Omena with a mini-album every bit as inspired as his 2018 debut album on Church, "It Rains Here". As with previous outings, the showcased tracks are imaginative and evocative, with Yadava blending dreamy electronics and jazzy instrumentation with grooves that variously doff a cap to dusty deep house, West African and South American rhythms, jazz-funk and broken beat. Highlights are plentiful throughout, with the richly percussive "Earth Tones", bustling "Message From Poets", jazzy "Ixelles '42" and super-sweet "Good Mourning" standing out.
Review: Difusion's Jamie McShane & Daniel Maunick hook up with the extremely talentented vocalist Ant Thomaz on two original killa tracks that brings their love of Jazz/Funk,Soul & House music all together.Includes a heavy remix from Daniel Maunick, producer of Azymuth, Marcos Valle, Incognito and many others! This is the first release of the newly relaunched Straight Talk Records, back after a 20 year hiatus, with 3 tracks full of soul & fire!
Review: The 3rd release in No Fuss's vinyl series offers the likes of Saison, Risk Assessment, & Natasha Kitty Katt. A1 is a deep and dirty number from Saison titled "Till The Day I Die". Jackin' beats and a bumpy bassline complimented by a Juno 60 synth & sampled vocals. A2 is a deeper track from House artist Risk Assessment with sampled vocals and bluesy piano titled "I Don't Understand". B1 "The Riff" is classic Saison at its best. Their jazzy pianos, driving bass and swinging beats never disappoint the dance floor. B2 is Glitterbox resident and rising DJ Natasha Kitty Katt. Katt offers her unique disco touch of cut up samples and filtered drums to create a feel good disco house slammer.
Review: No Fuss's 4th release offers some top talent from across the globe. A1 starts with London's The Journey Men who create a deep, driving, moody track with a touch of soul. A2 see's Chicago's Local Options with their trade mark sound of Jackin Deep House. On the flip B1 is Saison's "A Good Thang". A feel good Deep House number with guitar, vocals, live keys, driving beats and bumpy bass. B2 sees the likes of veteran producer Cpen. Chris offers a classy joint that mixes the elements of Jazz, UK Garage & Deep House.

The duo offer their trademark sound of bumpy beats and jazzy riffs. A2 is Crispin's "Prospect Place". A song that travels through the deeper, darker, and disco sides of House. B3 sees the likes of Dean Zepherin's "Betty" classic feel good House Music at its best.

Review: This debut Archivators records release embraces the charms of nudisco, deep house and garage-afro-tribal side and we think it hit on every level with wonky bassline. It's easy-breezy number built around wild drums, warm chords to catch your breath, lovers of rhodes should lend the EP an extra ear, it's pure bliss. All producers on this timeless release known for their contribution to Disco/House Music. Godfather
Frankie Knuckles & Joey Negro has been injecting deep soul & funk into house music since the early 90s, making them one of house music's originators. EP bring unforgettable impressions & inspiration for mind, body & soul. 4 tracks came together to tell music stories about hypnotic deepest stuff, depression, happiness, loneliness, love, miracles and magical experiences. And now we're asking other's to join the sound conversation
Review: Cardiff based DJ and producer Guy Evans has been producing music since 1992, although it was only in 2014 that he had his first vinyl release on the Glasgow based label ALL CAPS.
Since then, he has released both new and archived material on labels such as ORGANIC ANALOGUE, CEJERO, CRISIS URBANA, EXOTIC ROBOTICS and many others. This EP marks the first release on his own label 'OTHER WORLD MUSIC' and features 5 tracks created recently by the producer which cover a broad range of styles, from Detroit house, downtempo ambient to futuristic sci-fi breakbeats. Some of the tracks on the EP have already gained airplay on stations such as NTS Radio and we look forward to hearing more releases from the label in the future.
Review: We are proud to present the second record on Axces, which comes from our close friend Frits Caroe aka Popmix. Recorded in 2017 in the Nordvest Auto facilities, the three tracks on his debut give a sense of Frits' mastery of effective, simplistic melodies.
The A-side kicks off with Funtema, a candy like IDM tune whose strong melodic core will be stuck in your head for days. Next up is Klub Frimis, a Detroit meets Mario Kart DJ tool that we guarantee will rock any party. Finally on the B-side we have Teenage Club Fantasy, whose acidic bassline and dubby stabs will help ease that comedown.
Review: Remarkably, it took Vincent Halliburton 13 years to deliver a follow-up to his 2002 debut single "RM1x Files". The Detroiter hasn't left it quite so long this time, with this alluring three-tracker appearing just four years after its predecessor. Clearly Halliburton believes in quality over quantity, because "Vibe Under A Different Frequency" is superb. Check first the swirling deep space chords, delay-laden vocal snippets and layered, Ron Trent style deep house percussion of the fittingly titled "On A Deep Groove", before gaping in awestruck wonder at the dreamy, deep and hypnotic "Going Away", which boasts some suitably breathy, out-there vocals from none other than Sade. He rounds things off in style via the groovy warmth and sun-kissed dancefloor positivity of "Go Down".
Review: New label Nuances de Nuit kick off in fine style with a various artists 12" that draws on some emergent names to lay out a vision of cross-style dance music that favours the deeper end of the pool. Things get going with an organ-rich house bumper from DJ Steaw that pumps in all the right places, before Armless Kid switches things up with an untitled slice of dynamic, richly layered electro. T. Jacques thumps out a crafty, swinging cut with techy inclinations and oodles of groove, and E. Wan takes things in a more linear, deep techno direction laden with gorgeous synth work and plenty of artful effects processing.
