The Boston Triangle
Around the turn of the 19th Century there was an opening in the skies around Denmark. This light was of a spiritual nature, which led to many interesting books on religion an such matters.
We failed miserably to communicate these texts and the opening slowly closed and moved away.
Now, a little over hundred years later I've found a new opening in the skies. In a completely different part of the world and not only directly spiritual of nature, but more like spirituality spred through music.
Boston my friends is the new creative space where a new level of house music in it's many forms are being investigated, interpretated and recaptured throug people like Kon, Caserta, Bosq, Tanner Ross, Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine to name just a few. So if you ever want to make electronic music these are the people you should look up, if you're tired of the darkness in music and in the clubs.
On a complete different note, around a year ago I learned that one of the founders of the record label West End grew up around Boston too. Check out a documentary film called the Godfather of Disco. Mel Cheren.
Now my search are complete.
