Summer Vibes!!

Javi Frias has been collecting and playing records for more than ten years since his early days as a young 'soul boy' in Madrid. Nowadays he's one of the most respected DJs of underground black music in Spain, with residents in some of the best clubs of Granada: Afrodisia, Boogaclub, Planta Baja and Sugarpop.

His sets are always elegant, addictive and eclectic, with a stylistic impressive variety. He plays from the last innovations to the old skool classics, always selected and mixed with taste, quality and skills. In his bag you can find a little of bit of everything: Soul, Funk, Disco, Reggae, Rare Grooves, Jazz, Latin Boogaloo, Real Rhythm & Blues, Titty Shakers, Boogie, Afrobeat, Hip Hop, Breaks, Mash Ups...

In 2007 he started Sound Dimension, a weekly radio show where you can find the best in underground black music, from the vintage sounds to the latest, quality electronic evolution of these grooves, always with and elegant, educational and addictive point of view. You can listen it at ScannerFM (Barcelona), Right On FM (Strasbourg, France), Radiopellenera (Italia), Radio 42 (Hamburg, Germany) and Canora Radio (Madrid).

In addition of his work as club and radio DJ, he's the drummer of one of the best soul bands in the groove scene, Al Supersonic & The Teenagers.
