International Women's Day 2019: REKA

Currently based in Berlin, REKA has held a residency at techno institution Tresor for the past five years and has been perpetually touring throughout Europe: Berghain, Sonar, Khidi in Tbilisi, Katharsis in Amsterdam, Kaos in London, and Joy in Moscow amongst others. With an addiction for adventurous selections, blending between dystopian aesthetics and moments of euphoria, REKA has developed her very own personal approach to the electronic spectrum. Featuring everything from contemporary techno to the genre's prototypical past of electro and wave, her sets are a highly sensitive affair; maneuvering seamlessly through dance music's many permutations, blending all together into a carefully narrated story that constantly ebbs and flows with her artistic vision and technical prowess.
