Review: Californian emo-tinged post-hardcore outfit Movements have grown to become one of the most respected and highly regarded acts in the scene today. With the release of their acclaimed third full-length Ruckus! arriving earlier this year, what better time for a much long overdue repress of their seminal debut LP Feel Something? Originally released in 2017, the work exuded influence from many scene forbearers such as Title Fight, yet with equal embracing of darker, spoken-word driven acts like La Dispute and nineties emotive alt rock within the realms of Sunny Day Real Estate and Mineral. Lyrically drawing on frontman Patrick Miranda's battle with OCD as well as early twenties strife such as searching for purpose and growing distant from family, there's good reason why the project has swollen in mass relevance to become one of the definitive albums of the third wave emo movement.
