Review: If you're a serious disco and boogie head, you need this record in your life. It's significant, too, being the first original track from Leroy Burgess's legendary Logg act - one of the finest disco/boogie outfits of all time - since 1981. In its original form (B2), 'Dance Till You Can't' is a sublime slab of updated, house-era boogie full of superb instrumentation, wigglingacid lines, cheerful piano stabs and a typically inspired lead vocal from Burgess, who remains disco's most talented male vocalist. If you're after a more straight-up, classic Logg style boogie sound, Marc Mac's EP-opening 'Main Mix' is the version to opt for (and genuinely brilliant), while the broken beat style 'Broken Boogie Mix' will appeal to those who love Dego and Kaidi Tatham's joint productions.

Review: ***B-STOCK: Record ever so slightly warped & minor dents on outer sleeve, otherwise in excellent condition***

Here comes a unique double 7" issue of Leroy Burgess' flagship band project Logg, which showcased the legendary singer and arranger's skills in the years following his breakthrough in Black Ivory with Patrick Adams. Every track on Logg's self-titled album from 1981 shows the group Burgess had assembled were at the top of their game, but more than that its the songwriting which just bursts from the speakers from the joyous choruses to killer bridges and deadly breakdowns. The finest four cuts from the album get a side to themselves each here - just stick on 'I Know You Will' and feel your heart lift off.

(You've Got) That Something (extended version) (10:43)
Dancing Into The Stars (extended version) (11:05)
Review: Boogie badman Leroy Burgess was responsible for some of the greatest disco and electrofunk jams of the early '80s. Even so, few were quite as special as "(You've Got) That Something", a 1981 killer that distilled all that was good about his productions - those distinctive cowbell patterns, life-affirming slap bass, spiraling synths, hard-wired disco guitars and one of his finest vocal performances - in one essential, 11-minute package. As on the original '81 12", it comes backed with the similarly impressive "Dancing Into The Stars", whose melodic bassline is arguably even better than that found on the A-side. If you don't already own a copy of the original pressing, this reissue should be an essential purchase.

Review: Leroy Burgess and Larry Levan's famous 1981 post-disco project enjoys a well-deserved reissue. Leroy's vocals are at their very peak, flexing around that midrange that allows him to dynamically hit both high and low moments while Levan's production ensures the entire band shines in the right places; the salubrious slap bass on the Wonder-esque "Dancing Into The Stars", the full-flavour backing vocal harmonies on "Something Else", the interstellar keys on "Lay It On The Line"... Everyone in the Logg project plays a pivotal role in one of the coolest boogie records of the era. Essential.
