Radiosick EP
Cat: RTTD 022. Rel: 18 Jul 22
Techno
  1. No Masters (6:40)
  2. Radiosick (6:04)
  3. Nest Of Bones (feat Rosaceae) (5:50)
  4. Hashima (6:02)
Review: The latest on Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder label sees Hamburg based producer and Schulverweis/Cher Fassbindermember LFT really kicking hard with four proper electro shocks from the underground. Having previously provided similarly uncompromising Zement, Mechatronica Music, Mannequin and Holland's Acid Avengers, as well as a well received 2019 outing for Return To Disorder, LFT's quality is not under question, and these four bangers only go to back that up.
'No Masters' has a seriously marauding atmosphere to it, a hoover bass sucking up the bass end and the sound of strange monsters in the background, all set to ,a machine funk backbone 'Radiosick' revolves around spiralling high frequency arpeggios, and a simpler, more electropop drums and bass arrangement. 'Nest of Bones' sees Rosaceae adding haunting, punky vocals making it evocative of a more dancefloor-slanted Chicks on Speed, then 'Hashima' completes the package with a more four-to-the-floor approach and alongside a dreadnaught bassline. Terrifically terrifying all round.

Red Pyramid EP
Cat: MTRON 018. Rel: 27 Mar 20
Electro
  1. Red Pyramid (5:37)
  2. Chemical Confidence (6:02)
  3. Anti Tune (4:35)
  4. Endless Octopus (5:30)
  5. Geister Fabrik (7:22)
Review: L.F.T.'s brand of electro is punked out and industrial, with flashes of acid and EBM toughening it further. The mesmeric lead on "Red Pyramid" is a brilliantly psychedelic one that morphs and contours before your very ears, turning your mind in on itself many times over. "Chemical Confidence" is as brash as the title suggest and "Anti Tune" is a skittish beat with real snap. The flip-side closes out with two angst riddled, fist clenching electro bangers. If you want to make a real impact on a dark, strobe lit club, look no further.
