Review: To kick-start its' 2020 release schedule, Amelie Lens' Lenske label has decided to give us a taste of "The Future" - or more specifically the forthright, far-sighted contemporary productions of some of its most valued assets. Lens delivers one of the standouts, a mind-mangling slab of trance-inducing techno simply titled "The Future", but the tracks bundled with it are almost equally as potent. Our highlights include the bleeping melodies and dense tribal techno beats of AIROD's "Divine Power", the industrial techno murkiness of Milo Spykers' "Traversing" and the rave-igniting big room thrust of "Step Up" by Farrago, though the whole EP will delight all of those who like their techno weighty, raw and pounding.
