The Dead Sea Poster Set
The Dead Sea Poster Set (3 posters in gatefold 12" sleeve)
Cat: 430914 Rel: 31 Aug 11

3 posters from Stefan Marx in 12" record sleeve
Notes: With his debut release on co-owned Smallville label, Stefan Marx presents an exclusive Poster Collection coated inside a gatefold 12" cover sleeve. Giving the Smallville shop and label a visual face since the very beginning, Stefan Marx created hundreds of posters and partyflyers, painted the shopwindows regularly and set up every single record cover. Now its the time for himself to release an extraordinary Smallville issue in 12" format.

Three posters (each has the size of 90cm x 60cm) including a first appearance of his band project The Dead Sea (aka Stefan Marx, RVDS, Lawrence and Birte Loschenkohl). The Smallville 25 is a collaboration with Nieves, the Zurich based publishing house of Stefan Marx and some all-time favorite contributors such as Kim Gordon, Mike Mills, Mark Gonzales and Wesley Willis. Stefan is working with Nieves since 2004, publishing books and zines on regular basis. The Smallville Release is dedicated to Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, probably the best band in the world.

Lautlos (!Deladap remix 4 club)
Lautlos (Jeremiah remix)
Goldregen (NOHA mix extended version)
Lautlos (Dunkelbunt remix)
Review: The song "Lautlos" has a very special flair. DelaDap have written and recorded it in cooperation with the Berlin cult band 17 Hippies. Singer Kiki Sauer's very own style of mixing French, English and German text fragments mixed with the sound of DelaDap did create a strong feeling of multi-culture somewhere between chanson, Balkan sound and jazz. The 17 Hippies, who got known to a broader public especially with their soundtrack for Andreas Dresen's Movie "Halbe Treppe", was founded in 1995. Actually they wouldn't call it "founded", it was more an open come-together of several musicians from totally different backgrounds just to do some acoustic music for their own pleasure. The French press came up with the wording "Berlin Style" which is know synonymous for the 17 Hippie's mixture of eastern European melodies and rhythms with French chanson and American folk. Beside the original album version in radio length and a new DelaDap own remix, the new DelaDap maxi-CD also contains a remix from Vienna's rising Balkan expert [Dunkelbunt] and one from house specialist Jeremiah! As a special bonus it also comes with the highly demanded long-version of Noha's "Goldregen" mix.

Guarapachanga (A Nicholson Miquifaye reprise) (5:56)
Review: The New York-based (U)nity is made up of Michael Valeanu, Axel Tosca Laugart, Chris Smith, Max Cudworth and Amaury Acosta. They formed the band in 2006 as a project to explore Afro-Cuban jazz, funk, soul and contemporary electronica. They say they've been influenced by everyone from Chucho Valdes to Art Blakey to Led Zeppelin to Kendrick Lamar, and you can definitely hear all of that in this jawdropping work. "Guarapachanga" is special in that it was the first song written by the band back in their days as music students at The New School. It's derived from the style known as guarapachangeo - the most advanced form of Cuban rumba, heavily improvisational and based on very complex rhythms and melodies. On this recording, (U)nity is graced with a guest performance by Grammy Award winner Pedrito Martinez, a master rumbero, one of the greatest conga players ever, an innovator who has left a permanent mark on Cuban music. Martinez is also a priest in the Yoruba religion and a historian of Cuban culture.

Over its eight and a half minutes, "Guarapachanga" twists and turns and journeys through a mind bending array of different tempos and modes, from Latin jazz to hip hop, ultimately ending with a trippy ambient soundscape. The whole thing is overlaid with free spirited melody, soul and the Afro-Cuban essence that is the band's lifeblood. The white-hot live playing gives it the feel of the best early-morning jam session, yet it packs a sonic punch that will make it sound incredible on a good sound system in the hands of adventurous DJs in the world-beat or spiritual-house vein. If you didn't know "Guarapachanga" was a contemporary work you might mistake it for a Loft classic; yet it's also as fresh and exciting as anything you'll hear this year.

Review: MoBlack continues to champion the best Afro house with this latest drop from &friends, El Jay and Oluwadamvic. 'Ode Ireti' appears here in four different versions, leading in with the original mix which comes bathed in sultry piano and an understated rhythmic roll perfect for sundown moments. The 'Amapiano Edit' unsurprisingly refigures the groove for all your log drum needs, and then Nitefreak jumps in on the flip for a smouldering deep house version and then Deroos brings his own tracky energy and moody chords to the table to complete a highly workable track served four ways.

In Your Eyes (9:42)
As Above So Below (8:05)
Review: After spending last autumn working alongside Rampa and Adam Port (see the trio's excellent "You Are Safe" album on Keinemusik), Andre "&Me" Boadu has enjoyed a quiet 2018. In fact, this outing on Pampa is his first release of 2018. He begins with the atmospheric and undulating delight that is "In Your Eyes", a slightly jazz-flecked rolling deep house excursion that brilliantly builds energy throughout. Boadu accomplishes this using two contrasting melodic elements: fluid piano solos and a foreboding electronic motif that increases in prominence and intensity as the track progresses. Over on side B, "As Above So Below" is an altogether deeper proposition, with hushed, cymbal heavy percussion, tech-tinged drums and a spacey, undulating synthesizer melody combining to create a hazy late night mood.

Review: Adam Port, &ME and Rampa at team up with Little Dragon are quite the collaboration here on 'Saving My Love', a one track 12' where the deep house sound of Berlin collides with Swedish pop sensibilities. Proper mood music for late night basement parties, the Keinemusik trio's idiosyncratic style of bold, emotive and futuristic groove is the perfect backdrop to Yukumi Nagano's breathtaking vocals. Samo (6:20)
Review: Back in January, &On&On (a DJ/production duo comprised of Noni and Worth Way) were named by DJ magazine as 'ones to watch' in 2022. It's taken them the best part of the year to deliver on that promise, but the pair's Lost Palms debut - their first 12-inch of the year - is packed to the rafters with quietly impressive fare. For proof, check opener 'All Day', a tactile and gently warming blend of deep chords, techno synths and swinging, garage-influenced house beats, before basking in the wide-eyed breakdowns and classic-sounding deep house grooves of 'Melted'. Elsewhere, 'Delta T' is a wonderfully sub-heavy chunk of breakbeat techno headiness, 'Mid Valley' is a sparse, stripped-back, electro influnenced roller and 'Samo' is a psychedelic techno shuffler.

Van Cul (5:31)

Review: It's common knowledge now that #.4.26. is Ilian Tape mainman Dario Zenker, who under this alias released a slew of hard hitting DJ tools on cult label Frozen Border - and this is his first new material under the name since five years. From the sheer terror of dynamic opener "Mono Middle", a dystopian electro number saturated in dense lo-fi fuzz, the broken beats continue on the minimal boom and thump of "Whenever Voi". But it's the B side that proclaims no more Mr. Nice Guy here, with the slamming old school energy of "Free Upload" calling to mind the early '90s sound of Djax or Pro-Jex, while "Van Cul" again demonstrates Zenker's fine ability to weave broken beat arrangements into epic, big room techno bangers.

Review: 0 is back on their own 0 label with 02, a second offering of experimental electronic music. Both sides of this 12" are taken up by one long and winding track each. The first is all dubbed out, with gassy sounds bringing a little light and sharpness to the murky pads, grainy effects and lo-fi aesthetic all around. It's a heady back room cut for in-the-know crowds at 5AM. The flip side is a little fuller, with skittish rhythms, busted sine waves and watery synths all coalescing around a haunting groove that is awash with real-world noise.

Review: Back in stock. What a treat this is, badged up with the catalogue number Sahko 1.5 this is material from Ø, aka Mika Vainio which has never been previously released on vinyl! The tracks were written in 1993, some time in between the Sahko 001 and the Sahko 002 EPs, and released on the absolutely seminal "Tulkinta" album - it has taken 10 years for them to surface finally on wax. Now thank goodness you can play these tracks as they really should be heard, very loud and possibly in a sweaty club, getting your minimal groove on. With massive support recently from none other than the hairstyle-challenged Richie Hawtin, who featured a whole heap of Ø tracks in his latest "DE9" mix CD, this release couldn't be more timely and more desired. My suggestion would be to get hold of this now before it disappears once more forever.

Review: Back in stock. The second part of Mika Vainio's silver series (along with Sahko001), this EP is something of a techno classic. It would later appear on the Tulkinta album, but the 12" has been out of press for over ten years, so it is wonderful to see this back on the shelves, to entice a new generation of listeners into its glorious analogue techno world. What I find so endearing about the Ø records is Vainio's ability to make minimal, edgy techno music sound so glacial and other-worldly. An Ø record sounds exactly like an Ø record and in the twelve years since this was released, nobody has managed to match or recreate anything to come close to these tracks. You know what to do, grab this now before it disappears for another ten years! Totally unmissable.

Jaan Alla (Beneath The Ice)
Review: Back in stock. My word! This amazing, ice cool four track excursion into dark ambience and swirling spooky minimalism is at long last with us again. "Näkinkenkä (Shell)" sounds like early electro-acoustic droneage ala Charlemagne Palestine but with a 21st century edge - absolutely lush. "Suomot (Scales)" is purest early Sähkö, amazing and weird like the finest slo-mo Richie Hawtin minimal throb filtered through Delia Derbyshire's Radiophonic Workshop wires, killer. "Viimeinen Monni (The Last Catfish)" is amazing - deep bass, Rhythm & Sound vibed background static, minimal melodic drops - too, too much. Lastly comes "Jään Alla (Beneath The Ice)" which is a perfectly formed classically influenced repetitive piece. An amazing end to an amazing 12", buy or die.

Review: Matthew Farrow takes a break from his Kepler alias to deliver this sure shot of garage rudeness to Burnski's Instinct label, and he's sounding absolutely on point. "Inside" has plenty of MC flava sprinkled over it, not to mention all the 4x4 rudeness you could wish for from the bassline upwards. "Steppa" is a more soulful cut with a crafty breakstep twist to it, while "Rouge Fader" brings it back to that naughty middle ground between uptempo house and proper swinging garage, DX7 organ and all. "Break" gets tricky with the drum licks again, completing a set of good time rabble rousing business.

Review: Mattia Trani, son of legendary Italian DJ Marco Trani (the most influential DJ in Rome throughout the 1980s), has previously impressed with a gaggle of techno twelves, mostly on his own PushMaster Discs label. This 12" for the shadowy Lunar Orbiter Program label sees him debut a new alias, 051 Destroyer. It seems him turn his hand to a range of largely hard-wired electro-related styles, from the weighty lo-fi thrust of club-ready opener "Digital River" and Braindance-inspired insanity of "Drexciya Descendents", to the wild sci-fi electronics and electro/techno fusion beats of the surprisingly jacking "The Hdyro Return". Closer "Avalon", a deeper, warmer and more relaxed affair with hints of IDM, is also impressive.

To Nadja
Review: After emerging out of the 8-bit and chiptune scene, Stefan Klaas turned his hands to more minimal fare, which has largely been issued on his own 31337 imprint over the past seven years. "Still" takes the lead on the A side with an austere arrangement populated by the finest slithers of percussive ticks, accented by a spacious chord with no need for anything else to clutter the mix. "Hold On" simmers the concoction down even further, creating a dark and enticing stalker out of the barest elements. "To Nadja" glides across the whole of the B side with a more robust rhythm section, using a snappy breakbeat to tell a story as the track unfolds.

Review: Oh yes!!! The new round of Burrito releases for the end of 2006 starts with a tasty Burrito debut for 10 Rapid. With dancefloor bombs already under his belt for Carepack and a particularly good Dizzee Rascal bootleg, plus many may recognise the name as the winner of the Marine Parade remix competition on Beatport for his Stone Lions "Snow Over Arizona" mix. Well, as soon as the demo for this track, 'Daylight', landed on the doorstep of Koma & Bones towers we knew we were onto a good thing. Phat sounds, beefy techy bass, mad vox sample & a f*cked up vibe - an instant winner. With Jono Fernandez drafted in from down-under to add his dirty 4/4 ideas, both mixes here are special. And with further releases on Carepack & Erase on the way, plus another ice cool release signed for Burrito, and a 2-man live laptop show on the horizon, 10 Rapid is moving fast now.

'59' is all wonky lines and tangled synths that tie you in knots, '72' is a more subby, undulating and deep and '90' gets eerie with bleeps and pulses over a spare bassline. Like all the tracks here, '45' is brilliantly atmospheric and mysterious minimalism, '93' gets more urgent and abstract and '98' ends with gritty industrial tech house vibes. Superb.

Review: For the latest missive on their reissue-focused Attic Salt Discs imprint, Dusty-fingered duo Colin Volvert and Otto Kraanen have snapped up the rights to a sought-after 1984 cut from Belgian new wave band 1000 Ohm. You'll find their original vocal and instrumental versions on the A-side, with both sounding like a delightful cross between bubbly Italo-disco, Bobby 'O' style Hi-NRG and the imperial synth-pop of the Pet Shop Boys. Arguably even better than both original mixes is Vanzetti and Sacco's more dancefloor-focused flipside edit. While this does make use of 1000 Ohm's Heaven 17/ABC style vocals and cheery melodies, there's far more focus on the druggy arpeggio groove and chunky drum machine beats.

Review: 1000 Ohm is a Belgian synth-pop/new wave duo that formed in 1981; the following year, their debut single 'A.G.N.E.S.' became a local hit, thanks to its prominent drum lines and a loyalty to the fun-loving melodic monotony endemic to the genre at the time. But despite their initial success, their second single 'Love In Motion' didn't come until 1984 on Clip Records; this disco cheerer-upper is as powerful and bold as it is relaxing and beach-worthy, straddling two distinct emotions through two distinct call-and-response lines. The B-side features an instrumental version of the same track, as well as a remix by the faux-anarchist duo Vanzetti & Sacco.

'Jive' skips and twirls across the A side in a swung, sprightly exploration of soft and rounded synth lines and pleasingly chunky beats, capturing a dusky ambience along the way that's so easy to melt into. 'Honkey (Crazy Hats)' takes things deeper with a more rhythm-focused joint that maintains a submerged feel throughout. 'Ochos' completes the set with a deep tech house meditation rich in melodious uplift, striking a spiritual tone which would go down very well with someone bumping records on Yoruba and other such labels.

This second release on their label kicks off with the atmospheric twinges of "Klon 6 Step", a sizzling, simmering cut for transcendental moments on the floor. "Wild Fudge" is a snappier affair peppered with folky string plucks that sound fresh in the club track context. "Infrastructure" takes things on an emotive tip with a range of strong melodic leads, and "Tinky Tink" ramps up the unease with a creeping jam for the less salubrious end of the night.

Shoot The Bar (7:46)
Primary Colours (6:51)
Oliva Funk (6:31)
Review: Florence based label Bosconi is back with 100 Hz aka UK legends Lee Renacre and James Chapman who have been around since the late eighties. This is their second release on the Italian imprint; their Mila EP was their first for the label back in 2009. On the A side we have a re-issue of their 1989 track "Shoot The Bar" a sturdy and cyclical house groove on the tougher side of things with a nice double bass holding the track above a tight rhythm and dreamy Rhodes piano. "Primary Colours" sounds more like minimal, but given more of an edge by all the dusty and lively analogue machines that power it along. Its bumpy bass and restrained synth stabs supporting some simplistic rhythms and works quite well. Finally "Oliva Funk" is more of a classic NYC house cut, those rapid fire cowbell strikes will help it bear even more resemblance to classic Kerri Chandler style vibes.

Review: The career rebirth of long-serving British duo 100Hz, whose fine debut 12" "Low Frequency Overload" dropped way back in 1989, continues apace. Following fine recent outing on Bosconi and Veniceberg they resurface on Howl. There's naturally much to admire, from the mildly foreboding electronics, swirling chords and rubbery drum machine beats of "Howl009.1" and vintage bleep-meets-Jaydee throb of "Howl009.2", to the bass-heavy, pitched-down weirdness of closer "Howl009.4". Arguably best of all, though, is the analogue positivity of "Howl009.3", where bright electric piano lines and Balearic synthesizer flourishes work in glorious union with ragged acid bass and a bustling, breakbeat house rhythm.

Review: Since making their name with the bleep/loved up deep house fusion of "Low Frequency Overload" back in 1990, British duo 100 Hz have continued to deliver occasional 12" singles. Their latest EP, Immersive, is full of rich, saucer-eyed deep house treats. Highlights include the darting, near Balearic synths and dream house style grooves of "Rio",the boompty-influenced cut and thrust of "Rub Tub (Edit)", where jammed-out jazz synths cluster around a killer funk bassline, and the ultra-deep, but suitably energetic "Whiskey Pineapple". This latter track is propelled forwards by a relentless bassline, crunchy drum machine percussion, and some foreboding melody lines.

Trust Love (100 Hz 1999 remix)
Review: This tech-house vocal pearl was first heard in a Parisian after-party in the winter of 2000, spun by a then unknown Ivan Smagghe. After years of chasing, Hi-Phen finally secured the rights of "Trustlove". it has never been commercially released until now, while getting a lot of attention/envy from the coolest DJ's. Hi-Phen has commissioned new mixes and magic has happened really. Austria's finest techno originator and all around eclectic studio wizard Patrick Pulsinger has rendered a proper emotive electro-techno version with minimal overtones which is already heavily supported by Damian Lazarus, Rob Mello and D Julz. The other new mix is by Rotterdam's master of the staccato minimal electro sound, Orgue Electronique. Here he has gone for an update of the early Chi-town sound. Support on this mix comes from Serge, The Glimmers and Cyril K. Also included is a harder new mix from 100 Hz himself!

Review: Since returning to action in 2016 after a seven-year break, 1990s techno survivor Lee Renacre AKA 100 Hz has released some of the best music of his career. This fine four-tracker marks the long-serving Londoner's first outing on Romanian imprint Amphia, who are best known for serving up sparse, minimalistic tech-house. As you'd expect, there's a slightly fuller sound here, though sonically it's as pleasingly druggy and mind-mangling as much of the imprint's output. Renacre brilliantly flits between trippy, arpeggio-driven, house-tempo techno (the otherworldly 'Machines of May'), dubstep-influenced UK bass/techno fusion ('Gadget', which echoes the ethos of his early 100 Hz releases with James Chapman), intergalactic tech-house ('Dark as Night'), and frankly filthy low-end wobblers ('Swiss').

Review: As his artist alias suggests, 100HZ has a great knack for making brain tingling frequencies that permeate deep into your psyche. 'Big Joint' manages to be brilliantly deep and rich in its make up despite being relatively sparse. Distant pads swarm like midges round a rubbery bassline and delicate percussion. 'Trent' - which may or may not be a reference to deep house don Ron Trent - has a late night sense of menace to the prying chords and icy, prickly drums and 'Beek' is perfect dead of night house music that demands you zone in on the little details and get utterly lost in the moment. Superb.

Charonne - "Formule Stardust" (6:17)
Review: Domenico Rosa and Riccardo's Imprints label has regularly delivered the goods since making its debut back in 2013. Predictably, this multi-artist affair is also rather impressive. French twosome Charonne is arguably the star of the show, delivering two tidy tracks: the bouncy and far-sighted "Vice City", where '80s synth-funk style motifs and acid-funk electronics ride a bustling groove, and the similarly-inclined, elastic tech-house-funk of "Formule Stardust". Elsewhere, turn-of-the-90s survivor 100Hz delivers a fine chunk of woozy deep house/funky techno fusion and Cobert delivers some spacey and chunky, mid-set tech-house. In other words, all four tracks are playable and worthy of your attention.

Review: New label Lumbago drop a new, tasty, hand-stamped house belter to soothe all of your winter blues, and it's clear that the imprint are very much here to stay. Instead of going for the glory-hunting, they've decided to release music from a selection of rising names, but from the sounds of "Inappropriate" by 100Hz, the quality factor is very much present. Even Octave's "Racing", a rough, analog house banger with an industrial edge, packs enough of a punch to make us wonder why we haven't been name-dropping him more often. Over on the flip, Nightdrivers member Rufus, who is often heard alongside Mass Prod, drops the supremely funky "Conseguenza", a disco-tinged house roller that's given the dub-house treatment by the increasingly present Cab Drivers. Excellent material, right here.

Review: Slow Life's latest audio missive draws together tracks from two different generations of techno producers. On the A-side, you'll find two cuts from veteran British pairing 100HZ, who put out their first material way back in 1989 (the rather good "Low Frequency Overload"). "New Spoon" is a fizzing techno jam blessed with clattering drum machine hits, jaunty bass, crisp funk samples and a meandering spoken word vocal, while "Innocence" is a denser, sub-bass fuelled trip into late night territory. On the flip, contemporary Italian-in-Berlin Saverio Celestri takes over, first serving up the strobe-friendly New Jersey garage-meets-Detroit techno charms of "Vortex", before charging off into space via the restless rhythms, intergalactic bleeps, heavy sub-bass and wavy chords of "Toxic".

Review: There is a great backstory to this new one on Blue Hour: when Stockholm producer, DJ and promoter Maya Lourenco aka Parallax Deep was digging for music in the local Snickers Record store, she found two classic goa and psy trance tracks that particularly interested her. As such she snapped them up, took them home and began to work on her own distinctive edits of them, rearranging sections, cutting up bits and adding extra details while never getting too far away from the essence of the originals. Her edits of those two originals - 'Gobi Desert' by 100th Monkey & Tristan from 1995 - and 2000's 'Bunker' by Four Carry Nuts - are pressed up here and both sound brilliant.

113 for "Fout La Merde", a raw single with plenty of different versions. "113 Fout La Merde!" in original format bares plenty of Daft Punk hallmarks with its hip swinging claps and vocodered vocals, while the dub is more bumpy and low riding. Add in an instrumental and a cappella and you have a fine package that is long overdue this reissue.

Duploc Blaxck Tapes 2.0 originally dropped back in 2022 and the tracks from the likes of Hamdi, Hypho and ENiGMA Dubz were instantly getting picked up by such respected selectors as Youngsta, Sicaria Sound and Riz La Teef. It's not hard to see why, given the label's declared focus on "the heavier dubstep sound" with incendiary results. If you want to test some subs with the gnarliest 140 gear around, this record is all you need.

Deep House
Timed Reality (7:18)
Parallel Strings (7:26)
Altered Possibility (7:14)
Review: In our eyes, Patrice Scott's Sistrum Recordings represents everything that we like about deep house. That is not to say the label is limited at one single sound or genre, but it's more about its approach to finding the right artists to fit with its aesthetics. This latest head to head by the 12 To 30 trio - Bacanito, Giovanni Randisi and Tazz - is another stunning escapade into the deepest and most cerebral shades of house music, and the opener "Timed Reality" makes use of the genre only for its tempo, preferring instead to deliver a sublime wall of pads, airy synths and sci-fi effects. "Parallel Strings" reminds us of Theo Parrish in his mid-'2000s mode, but "Altered Possibility" is the real winner on here; a warm slice of SH 101 noise is just what we need for our low-end necessities.

Review: Slowly but surely Voodoo Down has built up a reputation as a deep house label you can trust. Its biggest release thus far was last year's Unstable Phenomenon EP by October (featuring a Joey Anderson remix), while other 12"s have featured STL Anton Zap and L'estasi Dell'oro. Of the six records that Voodoo Down has released, the artist/entity 12 x 12 has featured on half, and now the label offers the enigmatic 12 x 12 their own solo release. All three tracks are experimentally edged with "Partial" the most out-there and broken down production, while "Typical Male Behaviour" sounds like the workings of a robotic forest and creepy crawlies that inhabit it. Lastly, the title track is synthy, sunny and spaced out. More original, dope jams from the Voodoo Down crew.

Salsa 313 (Trickski remix)
Review: Stockholm DJ/producer Mikael Nordgren aka 12th Floor (aka D’Malicious, Tiger Stripes, etc.) is back on Raw Fusion with a salsa-inspired Detroit-house burner. The story begins with label boss Mad Mats dropping a Cuban Latin-jazz album to 12th Floor for a possible re-edit. But to Mats delight 12th Floor didn’t take the easy route but chose to make a brand new track using the samples. Combining fierce Detroit rhythms (hence Detroit’s area code in the title) with the hot salsa samples the result is absolutely stunning! For the b-side we head to Berlin for a blazin’ remix courtesy of the much-hyped Trickski crew. Not much from the original track is left (we managed to trace only a conga sample) but it doesn’t matter when it’s this hot. Jackin’ grooves is blended with that typical Berlin house sound that is so in-demand right now. Grand music!"

Review: Hailing from Barcelona, the 12Tree crew fire up their own in-house label Hot Piroski with a sterling opening round that's already garnering support from the likes of Pete Herbert, Crazy P, Psychemagik and more. The original track on the A side, "Sugamomma," is a well-rounded, full-fat dancefloor burner that should sit comfortably with fans of Hot Natured et al, given an extra boost with a sample of a young soul legend in the making. On the flip, Afrobeat classic N'Gwode by Aleke Kanonu gets a respectful edit that injects just the right amount of extra groove without diluting the loose, infectious soul of the original.
