When Hertfordshire-based drum & bass producer Law launched Repertoire back in 2009, it was with his debut single, the double A-side "Sophine/Emptiness is Form". Eight years on, he's decided the time is right to revisit the tracks. On the A-side he joins forces with friend and regular studio buddy Wheeler to breathe new life into "Sophine". Utilizing a classic jungle-era breakbeat, dreamy chords, blissful vocal samples and punishing sub bass, the duo creates a club-ready roller tailor made for sunsets and sunrises. Proximity Recordings regular Outer Heaven takes control on the flip, delivering a more ruffneck jungle interpretation of "Emptiness is Form" full of vintage MIDI edits, dark vocal samples and spooky textures.
