By now you should know that London's 2nd Drop is a label that trades exclusively in quality, pairing peerless 21st century sonics with some darkly captivating artwork courtesy of Jimmy Turrell. Having first featured on the label's Future Foundations compilation last year, Pedestrian returns once more on "Origins", another collaboration with Jasperdrum which is complemented by an Alex Perez refix of the pair's last track together "Kalakuta". Lead track "Origins" is a most unique proposition, with an eerie, stripped back house shuffle the rhythmic element amidst a backdrop of strange twilight jungle noise. In the hands of Alix Perez, "Kalakuta" is transformed into a sparse slo-mo steppers anthem.
