Young producer Palms Trax finds himself in an interesting position. Despite previously only releasing one EP - 2013's brilliant Equation, which was given the reissue treatment earlier this year - he's already being talked about in hushed tones in deep house circles. Happily, this second EP is almost as stunning as his first. The title track is particularly delicious, with jaunty, wide-eyed electronic melodies tumbling over skittering drum machine beats. The stripped-back "Raw Jam" - all vintage bleeps, thumping beats and rising and falling analogue bass - is arguably even better. The EP's real highlight, though, is a even match between Galcher Lustwerk's typcially sultry remix of "Forever" and "Lost Control", a rush-inducing chunk of thrillingly melodic 808 electro that sounds like a gleefully Balearic take on Drexciya.
