Well, needless to say, but Throne Of Blood have bloody done it again. After a strong year thanks to a series of superb 12" releases, the US label has come through with a mesmerising compilation of electronic splendour from a mixed bag of some of our most hotly tipped artists. No other way pf describing it apart form telling you our picks, which are plenty due to the quality throughout all of this release. Juju & Jordash's opener "Stroop", a mystical journey into liquid synths and modular percussion; Professor Genius' aka J.Velez's horror soundtrack approach on "Vista"; and Steve Moore's prophetic bundle of slow-cooking oscillations on "Forever.Alone, Immortal". All in all, this is kind of unmissable and it's so good to seeing artists who are typically tied down to dance tracks being able to branch out into their own reveries. Recommended.
