Cologne's Marvin Horsch has released experiments on local imprint Dorfjungs in the form of 2013's Pace EP and the irresistible Deen EP in 2015. This time for Berlin avant garde imprint Film, he presents the gorgeous Fukushisha EP where "Omnisession #1" gets down with some seriously weird acid jazz voodoo business, then the lush ambient journey "Sun After Rain" which channels the same kind of emotive bliss that Gigi Masin or Gaussian Curve have in recent times. Finally, on the flip is more quality in the form of "Negobebo #2" a broken beat nu-jazz groove that reminds us of Atjazz's finer moments back in the early noughties.
