Alessandro Adriani's Mannequin continues in its pursuit of very rare Italian cold wave with this retrospective by Torino based outfit Carmody compiled from three demo tapes released between the years 1981 and 1985. Some of you would know "Messengers Of Love" and "Most Of You" from their various appearances on compilations over the years. But there's more from where they came from with such uncovered gems like the slow-mo new romanticism of "Ambiguous" and title track "Sleep On Mirrors" Not to mention the glistening arpeggios on the stylish synthpop of "Psalm" and "Bones". Another fine release from Mannequin!
