Freiburg's Borrowed Identity has come a long way since his first EP for Traveller Records back in 2012, and his playful, sample-ready brand of house has landed on the likes of Quintessentials, Circus Company, Tenderpark, and the present Pastamusik. The German returns to the label with two prime cuts on the A-side: "Acido" is a grainy, pulsating techno stepper with a lo-fi edge, whereas "Sifredi" steps onto housier terrains thanks to its jacking percussion and provocative female vocal samples. Flip to the B-side and you got the self-explanatory "Time To Jack" - a dash of 303 low-end in its underbelly - and the darker, dubbier techno swings of "Tenebra". CRUNCH.
