Raven Yr Own Worl EP vinyl

Oh good lord. We weren't really expecting this but somehow it makes perfect sense. Our number one low-end extraordinaire, Bass Clef - who has recently produced a brilliant EP for the fledgling Public Information label - is not an artist which you would immediately associate with Bill Kouligas' psychotic PAN label, but then again, he has been known for creating a rather odd collection of sounds throughout his still-young career. The Clef really goes wild on this one, and probably gives Kouligas his best work to date, where otherworldly sounds are easily blended with harsher, more restrictive acid lines. "Self-Perpetuating Fun Loop" is just a great acid track with an unusual beat arrangement, whereas "Fluorescent City Shining City" is a lo-fi, downtempo acid workout for the hoodless Cadillac down a Miami Boulevard. On the flip, "Euphoric Nihilism" is a straighter cut recalling moments of UR under their more futuristic states, while "Adventures Unventured, Tenderness Untendered" ties things off with an essence of romanticism, a touch of pensiveness. Beautiful.
