Cat: 481437 Rel: 08 Apr 13

Audio interface designed for the iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad or Mac
Notes: The Apogee Duet is an award-winning audio interface, headphone amp and MIDI interface making it easy to create professional recordings anywhere on your Mac, iPad, iPod touch or iPhone. With Apogee's legendary digital audio conversion and world-class mic preamps, the Duet is the best way to capture your music with incredible dimension and detail.

The new Duet for Mac & iPad features special circuitry designed to deliver professional performance for iPad use along with low latency USB 2.0 performance for Mac. And with the addition of MIDI I/O you can connect and power a Core MID compatible keyboard/controller while using Duet with your iPad or iOS device.

The Duet's AD/DA converters are designed to deliver the purest recordings and best listening experience possible. The Duet's efficient circuitry and state-of-the-art components provide a simplified signal path resulting in incredibly transparent recordings.

Much like the AD/DA converters, the Duet's mic preamps feature the latest components and offer seamless click-free transitions as the gain increases and decreases throughout the incredible range of 0-75dB. This unprecedented feature allows you to dial in the perfect level, either with the controller knob or from within software, while delivering ultra-low noise and smooth, crisp detail. Duet's mic pres are suitable for all dynamic, condenser or ribbon microphones, allowing you to capture any sound without compromise.

An Apogee technology first introduced in 1992 on Apogee's AD-500 converter, Soft Limit can be heard on countless platinum selling records around the world. Once a technology exclusively reserved for Apogee's most advanced audio converters, Soft Limit is included in Duet and can be enabled in Apogee Maestro software.

This superior analog design prevents the digital clipping that causes distortion by instantaneously rounding off transient peaks before they hit the analog-to-digital converter. Soft Limit allows several more decibels of apparent level to be recorded while subtly providing an analog-like warmth to the sound.

The all new Apogee Ensemble is the first Thunderbolt 2 audio interface to offer superior sound quality, the lowest latency performance and the most comprehensive studio functionality all in one box. Ensemble includes 8 Advanced Stepped Gain mic preamps, monitor controller functionality including talkback, front panel Guitar I/O, two headphone outputs and digital connectivity for a total of 30 x 34 I/O. Blending acclaimed innovations, groundbreaking new features and an effortless user interface, Ensemble empowers you to capture inspiration
when creative lightning strikes.

Launched in 2007, the first Ensemble re-defined the possibilities of the personal studio interface, setting new standards of quality, simplicity and value. Winning that year's TEC Award for Digital Audio Technology, Ensemble went on to become the preferred interface for thousands of hit-making producers, engineers and artists. Now, with 30 years of digital audio expertise and the latest technological innovations, Apogee has re-built Ensemble to introduce the next generation of music creation technology.

Blending the best of Apogee's acclaimed innovations with groundbreaking new features and the power of Thunderbolt technology, the completely redesigned Ensemble sets a new standard for personal studio interfaces.

Ensemble delivers the full potential of Thunderbolt 2 performance with the lowest latency, unmatched CPU efficiency, 2 ports for expanding your system and a revolutionary 32-bit playback signal path.

Ensemble's proprietary Thunderbolt driver has been written from the ground up for Mac OS X Mavericks, resulting in unmatched performance and efficiency. Latency has been reduced to an astounding 1.1ms round-trip, allowing you to monitor through your DAW, plug-ins included, simplifying your workflow and leveraging the power of your Mac. Even when your session's DSP demands require a higher buffer setting, Ensemble's ultra-low latency means no longer having to choose between power and speed.

To accommodate different workflow preferences, Ensemble features optional direct hardware monitoring through Apogee's Maestro App with 0.6ms of latency.

Ensemble's custom driver includes two innovative features to maximize the performance of the software-hardware interface: a full 32-bit signal path from the output of your DAW straight to the high-performance ESS DAC, and a revolutionary Direct Memory Access (DMA) engine to more efficiently read and write data directly to Mac memory independent of the Mac CPU.

The DMA engine, running on Ensemble's hardware logic chip, reads digital audio data directly from your Mac's memory in a 32-bit format, increasing the driver's efficiency and providing the highest resolution signal possible to the DAC stage. This implementation allows the driver to crunch an enormous amount of data at an amazing speed, while making a very light demand on your Mac CPU. You benefit with lower latency, more plug-in power, and a transparent and encompassing
listening experience.

Intel's Thunderbolt technology was made for connecting multiple high bandwidth peripherals to your Mac. Ensemble includes two Thunderbolt 2 ports for conveniently connecting hard drive arrays, video capture devices and Thunderbolt monitors with up to 4k resolution from a single port.

Apogee is an award-winning industry leader in digital recording technology with over 25 years of experience. Preferred by recording pros around the world, Apogee products like Duet, Quartet, the original Ensemble and Symphony I/O have been instrumental in creating countless GRAMMY and OSCAR winning recordings and have set the industry standard in professional recording for over two decades. Ensemble is built solidly on this reputation.

From the mic preamps to the AD/DA converters and the clocking, Ensemble is best-in-class and cutting-edge Apogee technology. With components carefully selected in critical listening tests and a highly efficient circuit design, Ensemble was built by Apogee engineers to make a difference you can hear.

Ensemble's analog-to-digital conversion stage has been upgraded from previous generations of Apogee products such as Duet and Quartet to provide greater dynamic range, lower distortion and an almost non-existent noise level.

Ensemble's 8 uniquely designed mic preamps feature Apogee's Advanced Stepped Gain Architecture, in which the circuit is dynamically optimized to provide superior bandwidth, ultra low noise and nonexistent distortion across the unprecedented gain range of 0-75 dB. Whether recording powerful drums, dynamic vocals or delicate strings, your recordings retain the full impact, intricate detail and lifelike dimension of the original performance.

ESS Sabre32 32-bit Hyperstream DAC with Time Domain Jitter Eliminator offers unequalled dynamic range, ultra low distortion, and unmatched audio clarity free from input jitter.

The speaker level inputs are heavily padded and transformer isolated from the XLR output, allowing amplified speaker level (up to 100W @ 8 Ohms) to be tapped off, and sent to a microphone level input. A 20Hz to 20 kHz frequency response ensures the AV Direct will function seamlessly with any high quality audio source.

ART Clean Box II Ground Loop Isolator (ground loop eliminator)
Cat: 250550 Rel: 25 Dec 06

Removes electrical hum from audio equipment
Notes: ARTcessories are taking the audio world by storm and quickly becoming a popular brand with musicians, DJs and studio engineers everywhere around the world. You will discover a robust line of useful tools which include a complete range of direct boxes, headphone amps, small mixers, mic cable combiner/splitters and much more. ARTcessories are designed to deliver affordable solutions for a multitude of audio needs for any size project.

Hum in an audio system is often caused by loop effects which act like antennas. These loops can easily pick up a 60 Hz (or higher harmonics) hum transmitted by electrical wiring. Typically, these loops are connected via grounds, more commonly called 'ground loops'. The safest way to eliminate unwanted noise is with the CleanBOX II.

Some examples of Ground Loops:

The power ground of a synthesizer, connected to the signal ground of the synth, into a mixer's ground, then into a mixer's power ground.
The signal ground of a send effect (reverb, delay) into a mixer, and the connecting power grounds of the mixer and the unit.
The power ground of a guitar amplifier, connected to a signal processor which has a second guitar amplifier on the other channel, and then the second guitar amp's power ground.

The CleanBOX II easily removes ground loops without any signal degradation.

Cat: 450022 Rel: 19 Mar 12

Passive audio interface
Notes: The DTI (Dual Transformer/Isolater) is a high quality totally passive audio interface that uses a pair of high performance transformers to totally separate input and output signal grounds, thereby isolating two systems and reducing hum and ground-loop noise. The DTI's audio transformers have an extremely flat and wide frequency response and can handle high signal levels while maintaining an isolated balanced output. This gives the DTI a very clean and neutral sound with a wide variety of signal sources. The transformers are wound for 1:1 unity gain and are designed to be used with impedances from 600 Ohms to 100k Ohms.

What further sets the DTI apart from other lesser isolation boxes is its connection versatility, with XLR, 1/4" phone, and RCA type phono connections on all inputs and outputs. This allows it to easily fit into virtually any audio system and be the clean patch point between all types of systems.

Whether you need an interface between a computer based audio workstation and your monitor system, isolation on long cable runs in a fixed installation, isolation of a signal source from your recording equipment, or in many cases, just a safer connection between two audio systems, the DTI can accommodate.

The compact black anodized all aluminum case and it's passive design allow the DTI to provide years of trouble free service in Live Sound, Permanent/Fixed Install, DJ, and virtually any PA application. Its full feature set, rugged construction, and high-end specifications make the DTI the obvious choice.

4-channel passive stereo/mono hybrid splitter/mixer
Notes: The SPLITMix4 is a fully passive hybrid mixer that offers a wide variety of configurations. Mix 4 stereo input channels down to 1 stereo output, split a stereo input signal to distribute 4 stereo output channels, or combine the configurations for a wide range of applications. You can even configure the SPLITMix4 as 4 stereo input channels thru 4 independent level attenuators to 4 stereo output channels.

Independent stereo level controls are provided on each channel. All 1/4" connections are stereo TRS (Tip, Ring, Sleeve) and all channel connections have intelligent switching to allow for a wide variety of configurations. Plugging into a mix input channel removes it from the splitter bus, and plugging into a splitter output channel removes it from the mix bus. Stereo or mono operation is determined by the type of 1/4" plug and cabling that you use.

The fully passive design of the SPLITMix4 has no active circuitry to add noise or distortion, and virtually any signal level can be handled. The Level attenuators cover a wide range and offer over 90 dB of attenuation and channel isolation. The SPLITMix4 is designed primarily as a line level device with medium input and output impedances.

coming soon $454.42
Notes: Professional Sync:
The multiclock solves your sync issues in the studio and on stage once and for all.
Synchronisation of the multiclock to a DAW relies on a sample accurate audio clock stream, which in consequence guarantees absolutely tight clock signals with i1 sample of jitter.
Moreover, you can use it as a standalone generator or hook it up to follow other MIDI, DIN or analog master clocks.

Shift & Shuffle:
To compensate for any time lag of connected gear, you can shift each output channel individually and in realtime back and forth relative to the master clock.
The shift range is completely configurable and has a maximum of i400ms, the resolution is 20us.
If you have set your machines up to be on the spot, start playing with shuffle. Again, individually for each channel and in realtime.

Midi, Din, Modular & LFO:
Each channel can be set to either emit MIDI Clock, DIN sync (sync24) or analog clock.
Analog clock signals are configurable in polarity, start/reset behaviour and feature a flexible clock divider. An analog LFO is available with various waveforms and a range of 0-5V.
If you got them configured, channel settings can always be named and saved as a preset for later recall. Just in case you have a lot of gear.

10-in, 4-out Clarett 2Pre Thunderbolt interface with newly designed preamps featuring "Air" technology
Notes: ***BUY THIS INTERFACE ON OR AFTER 1ST SEPTMBER 2015, AND REGISTER IT WITH FOCUSRITE AND RECEIVE A FREE DOWNLOAD OF THE SOFTUBE TIME & TONE PACK (see http://uk.focusrite.com/softube for more details)***

Better. Faster. Easier:
Excellent sound is the quality Clarett owners love most. With up to 119dB dynamic range, superbly low noise, precision 24/192 conversion and two specially-designed mic preamps with a unique analogue "Air" effect, Clarett 2Pre simply sounds great, easily out-performing other interfaces in its class and beyond. Meanwhile, its astonishing 1.38ms round-trip latency* simplifies your workflow and lets you use your favourite plug-ins in real time.

Two New Clarett Mic Pres with extra 'Air':
The mic pres have been designed especially for the Clarett range, with plenty of gain, yet low noise and distortion. In addition, they include a special "Air" feature that switches in an analogue model of the classic transformer-based Focusrite ISA mic pre. The Instrument inputs also feature extra headroom to handle the loudest pickup.

Precision Digital Conversion:
Clarett features Focusrite's class-leading 24/192 conversion: with up to 119dB dynamic range, Clarett offers the cleanest way yet to get music in and out of your DAW.

Plug Straight In:
Do not underestimate the quality of the Clarett range DI. This newly designed instrument input allows for even the hottest of guitar pick-ups to be recorded without clipping, and the performance specifications easily match some of the finest dedicated DI's on the market. Coupled with the low latency environment, now you can get the most out of recording through your favourite amp sim and guitar effect plug-ins in real time.

Revolutionise your Workflow:
Clarett's ultra-low round-trip latency completely transforms your workflow. If you're used to having to build two different mixes - one using input monitoring to overdub, the other using the DAW for playback - the good news is that now, one is enough. Build your mix on the DAW and use it whether you're overdubbing (monitoring the input you're recording with the new Focusrite Control software mixer) or playing back, with all your plugins in place, all the time. Use your favourite plugins while recording too - whether it's reverb on a vocal, a guitar amp simulator, or even virtual instruments live on stage.

Intuitive, Easy to Use Software Mixer and Sweet Sounding Plug-ins:
Focusrite Control is a brand new software mixer designed for easy configuration of monitoring and routing setups. Simple and intuitive to use, Focusrite Control offers a traditional mixer workflow and allows immediate access to internal hardware functions. Also included is a sweet sounding plug-in collection comprising Softube's world-class Time and Tone Bundle, with TSAR-1R Reverb, Tube Delay and Saturation Knob. This is complemented by the Red 2 & Red 3 AAX, AU & VST Plug-in Suite, which accurately models Focusrite's classic Red range equalizer and compressor hardware.

'Gain Halos' help keep levels in check:
The front panel inputs include Focusrite's signature "Gain Halo" - an illuminated ring around the gain control that lights up green when there's signal and red when it's too high. There's a main monitor knob plus a high-power headphone output with its own volume control.

The ins and outs:
Clarett 2Pre offers 10 audio inputs and four outputs, including two front-panel multi-function inputs and a headphone output, plus four rear-panel line outputs (one pair doubling the headphone feed). There are also eight channels of ADAT-format digital input - ideal for adding eight channels of digital mic pre.

18-in, 8-out Clarett 4Pre Thunderbolt audio interface with 4 mic preamps
Notes: The compact desktop format of the Clarett 4Pre Thunderbolt interface belies its versatility as the best interface in its class. Its 18-in, 8-out format combines four newly-designed Clarett mic preamps with Focusrite's precision 24/192 digital conversion and extra-low round-trip latency of 1.38ms* - low enough to revolutionise your recording workflow, as well as enabling the use of DAW plugins in real time.
The newly-designed Clarett mic pre offers superbly low noise and distortion, plus the switchable "Air" effect - an analogue model of the classic transformer-based ISA preamps. Instrument inputs offer extended headroom to suit the loudest guitar pickup.

All four preamps are accessed from combination XLR/TRS sockets on the front panel handling mic (with optional phantom power), line and instrument inputs, and the adjacent gain controls feature Focusrite's signature encircling "gain halo" indicators that show green for good levels and red for overload. New optimised gain controls make gain changes smoother and more natural throughout.

Also on the front panel is a large-format monitor control and two independently-controlled headphone outputs with enough power to drive even high impedance headphones to deliver suitable monitoring levels.

Four more line inputs are provided on the rear panel, along with four line outs - both on TRS jacks - plus S/PDIF I/O and an ADAT digital optical format input allowing the addition of eight more inputs from, for example a digital mic pre.

A new software mixer, Focusrite Control, is included for easy configuration of monitoring and routing setups. Simple and intuitive to use, Focusrite Control offers a traditional mixer workflow and allows immediate access to internal hardware functions.

Clarett 4Pre comes with a sweet sounding plug-in collection comprising Softube's Time and Tone Bundle, with TSAR-1R Reverb, Tube Delay, Saturation Knob and Drawmer S73 Multi-band compressor. The Red 2 & Red 3 AAX, AU & VST Plug-in Suite complements this, accurately modelling Focusrite's classic Red range equalizer and compressor hardware.

The Clarett 4Pre, like the rest of the Clarett range, includes class-leading precision Focusrite 24/192 digital audio conversion with up to 119dB dynamic range, and combines it with astonishingly low round-trip latency - latency so low that it's possible to monitor recordings via effects plugins on the DAW such as reverberation, all within a single mix environment for the best possible recording workflow. There's never been a better, faster or easier way of getting audio into or out of a DAW.

Of course, you can connect and power professional monitors to the interface as well.

Effects in Real Time:
Don't let latency hold you back. Enhance your recordings in ways that are simply impossible with any other interface in this class , like real-time guitar amp simulation and vocal reverb (depending on your software, settings and computer).

Start Recording Today:
Compose, record, edit, save and export your music straight away, with time-unlimited versions of industry-standard music software: Ableton Live Lite and Pro Tools | First, which features 12 additional plug-ins including the Eleven Lite for real life guitar amp emulations and Black Op for iconic distortions and overdrives.
You also get Softube's Time and Tone bundle, the Focusrite Red Plug-In Suite, Novation's Bass Station Virtual synthesiser and 2GB of Loopmasters samples.
Scarlett Solo works with all major DAWs on Mac and PC, and all the software included is simple enough for beginners, yet sophisticated enough for advanced users.

Record Absolutely Anywhere:
Never miss another moment of inspiration. Everything in this studio pack is compact, lightweight and sturdy enough to take with you anywhere, so you can lay down ideas at a friend's house or record your next gig. You don't need a power supply, either - just connect with a USB cable and start recording.

Designed for the Guitarist:
No matter how loud you play, or how hot your pick-ups, the newly-designed instrument input can handle it. You'll be free to play without the worry of unwanted distortion.

New Generation - Better In Every Way:
The latest generation Scarlett Solo is packed full of upgrades. It operates at sample rates all the way up to 192kHz with new super-low latency* that lets you record and monitor with software effects in real time.
We completely redesigned the instrument input so it can handle even the hottest guitar pick-ups, and we've made it easier than ever to set your levels accurately. We've also built in new analogue protection circuitry across the inputs and the outputs, to guard your interface against unwanted power surges.

Crisp and Clear Conversion:
Converting your performance into digital audio and back again is the most important part of the recording process. We've been making class-leading converters for over 20 years, and Scarlett Solo is no exception, with the best converters of any interface in its class. And you can hear the difference! Every part of your recording will be beautifully crisp and clear, even when you're playing softly. This means you can amplify your quieter moments without any unwanted hiss or buzzing.

Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB Audio Interface (2nd Generation)

Cat: 613642 Rel: 06 Jun 16

USB audio interface with 2 inputs & Pro Tools First recording software included
Notes: Ideal for singer songwriters and guitar players who want to record studio-quality music:
Scarlett Solo is our simplest and most compact interface. It's ideal for singer songwriters and guitar players looking for the easiest way to record studio-quality music onto Mac or PC. Take it anywhere, connect by USB, plug a mic and guitar straight in, and immediately start recording with the same sound quality as the rest of the latest Scarlett range.

Focusrite interfaces are perfect partners for Pro Tools, so Scarlett Solo comes with Pro Tools | First - Focusrite Creative pack in the box, as well as Ableton Live Lite recording software and a suite of software and samples, so you can start recording straight away. As you'd expect, it works flawlessly with all major DAWs on Windows and Mac.

Sound Like You:
Easily make recordings that sound exactly like you. Connect your microphone to our natural sounding Scarlett preamp, and plug your guitar straight into a newly designed input, both of which capture studio-quality audio that sounds just the way you intended. 48V phantom power means you can use any mic you want.

Record Guitar and Vocals Simultaneously:
Record your guitar and vocals at the same time, onto separate tracks. If one doesn't sound right, you won't have to re-record both. You can also apply separate effects: amp simulation to your guitar, for example, and reverb on your vocal.

Effects in Real Time:
Super-low latency lets you enhance your recordings in ways that are simply impossible with any other interface in this class, like enabling real-time guitar amp simulation and vocal reverb (subject to your software, settings and computer).

Record Absolutely Anywhere:

Capture ideas at a friend's house, or record your next open mic night: Scarlett Solo is tiny and tough enough to take anywhere - but sounds just like our biggest Scarlett interfaces. You don't need a power supply, either - just connect with a USB cable and start recording.

The complete professional recording package for musicians.

Whether you're just starting out on your musical career or you're a seasoned professional, the Scarlett Studio gives you everything you need to start recording studio-quality music right away, right down to the microphone cable. Just add your computer.

Now you can record guitar, vocals, bass or other instruments directly into your computer, complete your recordings with studio effects and create a master mix.

Focusrite have been making high-end recording systems, used in the world's top studios, for over 25 years. That same precision engineering is now available in a compact, high-quality system for you to connect to your computer and start recording now, and it's all inside this box.

The audio interface is the key to making professional recording. At the heart of the Scarlett Studio is the Scarlett 2i2. This interface connects to your Mac or PC via the USB port and provides 2-inputs and 2-outputs to your music software. The Scarlett 2i2 delivers the superb quality and legendary Focusrite sound that audio industry professionals have relied on for decades. Plug your instrument, bass, guitar, keyboard, synth, you name it, and the included studio microphone straight into the front panel and the 2i2 brings them into your computer at the highest possible quality. You can record, edit and mix until you have just the sound you want, with the best possible playback quality so you can hear exactly what you're doing.

The Scarlett Studio really does give you everything you need to start recording. There's a studio condenser microphone, the CM25, that's specially designed to catch the life and soul of your vocals and acoustic instruments. Clean, smooth and sensitive, it captures every nuance. If you can hear it, you can record it. There's even a high-quality, low-noise microphone cable included, to connect the CM25 to the Scarlett 2i2.

The included HP60 studio monitor headphones tell it like it is. Accuracy is number one when it comes to monitoring. Unlike many headphones that flatter the sound, making it sound better than it really is, the HP60s give you a clear and accurate impression of exactly how your music sounds, so you can get it just the way you want it. And when you play it back elsewhere, it'll sound great.

The Scarlett Studio includes all the software you need to get you going straight away. The Cubase LE 6 is powerful music production software for recording and mixing. The Focusrite Scarlett plug-ins are a set of essential tools for polishing your mix, like compression to tighten up that bass or keep your vocals smooth and even; equalisers to bring out the character in your sound, gating to help remove noises, and reverb to give your music the space it needs. The Novation Bass Station is a software synthesizer that you can use to add additional bass or melody sounds to your music. Because it is a synth you can create totally new sounds that no one has ever heard before, or recreate classic sounds. There is also a sample pack from Loopmasters to add drum loops or sound effects to your track.
