Sexspurt (Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer remix) (12:12)
Techno Disco (KiNK remix) (8:16)
Come On Kerrier (Head High remix) (5:02)
Review: Having coaxed a new Kerrier District album out of Luke Vibert last year, Bristol's ever busy Hypercolour return to the project with a 12" sporting some truly high profile remixers. Ricardo Villalobos seems in the midst of a new wave of popularity right now, so it's a canny move for Hypercolour to enlist the Chilean for a trademark extended remix of "Sexspurt" alongside trusted companion and long-term collaborator Max Loderbauer. 12 minutes long, there is an equal emphasis on groove, micro detail and psychedelic expression demonstrated by the pair. Complementing this, the B side sports remixes from KiNK and Shed's Head High with the latter's take on "Come On Kerrier" quite sublime fun. What a way to toast your 50th release!

Zabava (8:32)
Spogad (6:28)
Zabava (SIT club mix) (8:51)
Zabava (SIT dub mix) (6:34)
Review: Moscow minimalists BodyParts are back everyone: look out! This time around they've drafted Eric to take up the baton. Who's Eric you say? From what we've found out he's Dmitriev Ernest. a Ukrainian DJ/producer/promoter, based in Odessa and this is his vinyl debut. It's not bad either. Opening up with "Zabava" a deep and percussive bass driven groove for the after-hours (or peak time: minimal style!) he goes ultra deep on the dreamy atmospherics of "Spogad" which is utterly sublime. On the flip, the first track gets a remix by Romanian royalty in the form of SIT aka Vlad Caiu and Cristi Cons, whose deep reductionism works a treat on their club mix of "Zabava" while the dub mix up next is reminiscent of the sombre, stripped back hypnotism of masters such as Baby Ford or Thomas Melchior.

Gri - "Gasha" (8:31)
Silat Beksi - "Jangle" (8:38)
Review: Ukraine's iO (Mulen) is minimal techno's rising star and now launches his own Mulen People imprint and you can sure bet it's gonna make an impact. Romania's always impressive Nu Zau features with the rolling, bass driven groove psychedelics of "112" followed by the splendid liquid funk of fellow homeboy Melodie with "Water Proof". More Romanian upstarts appear such as Funk E with the deep and exotic "Old's Cool". Rolling and funky hypnotics are the order of the day clearly, when being treated further with London based Gri's lovely "Gasha" or sometime Mulen collaborator and Ukrainian underground hero Silat Beksi with "Jangle" which closes proceedings with a bang on this funky, breaks driven tech house jam. Keep it coming!

Review: Active since 2012, London producer East End Dubs has represented all that is healthy in the current techy house scene with a busy DJing schedule augmented by 12" releases across Kote, Act Natural, Dogmatik and others. It wasn't soon after his emergence that East End Dubs founded his own eponymous label and its housed the majority of his output since then. Volume Six arrives of his Tools Series, brandishing four more expertly crafted productions for the DJs out there. All untitled, it's the closing cut that really hits the spot thanks to those searching, hazy keys.

Altitude (7:17)
Bucur (8:13)
Neo (7:29)
Permut (8:02)
Review: Romanian minimal heroes Livio & Roby team up with good mate George C. in collaborative project Premiesku, further exploring their love of quirky and subtractive bass driven grooves on the percussive tip. Getting straight down to business on the druggy dark beat of "Altitude" with its beastly groans a constant throughout, over layers of sinister noise that sound like field recordings; curious stuff! The rolling peak time groove of "Bucur" is absolutely fierce: a well-executed DJ tool that will crossover nicely into a variety of other techno sub genres. On the flip "Neo" is more typical of the Romanian minimal sound with high definition sound design, a good groove injection, hypnotic as hell and above all: exotic!

Review: Autoreply main man OCH is back, this time on Marc Romboy's Systematic with another sweet minimal house jam with sombre and dreamy keys, tight rhythm programming and catchy female vocal samples; everything you need really. The "Marc Romboy Roland Orchestra" gives the track more of a deep house vibe with its soft arpeggiated house chords and dreamy keys taking you on a nice journey. Finally the Baby Ford remix has a true master of the art give his midas touch for this restrained and bittersweet version.

Hyperclub (11:48)
Dar Stai Putin (8:09)
Review: Emerging minimal producer, no guesses where this guy's from but he's got credentials: having released previously on Cardinal, BodyParts and All Inn Black. "Hyperclub" on the A-side is the kind of dusty, druggy and rolling minimal groove you hear from the likes of fellow homeboys Livio & Roby or Nu Zau: strictly after-hours business (we love it!). On the flip things get more high-tech on "Dar Stai Pulin", this is a smooth and deep yet adrenalised groove that reminds us more of Barac or Cristi Cons. Interested yet?

YSL (10:17)
You Can (12:46)
Review: Einzelkind and Frost's Pressure Traxx out of Frankfurt sure is emerging as a force to be reckoned with in terms of the minimal house sound with some great releases recently by Romanians Priku and Vinyl Speed Adjust as well as the comeback of Italian legend Corrado Izzo aka Gadgets. It's now the turn of Andy Kolwes from Cologne, previously heard on La Pena and All Inn. Did we mention he's part of tINi & the gang? On the A side we've got "YSL" an ultra deep excursion with a smooth talking Frenchman's monologue backed by mystifying chords, a slow bumping bass and reduced rhythms. On the flip is the dusty and tripped out "You Can", its hypnotic minimalism is very reminiscent of Baby Ford and it's pretty damn good!

Garaldo (John Dimas remix) (7:06)
Machette (7:07)
Review: French label La Vie En Rose is run by legend of the Paris/London scene Terrence:Terry, so you can trust the DJ in this case! Moreover, Ibiza-based Brits Acid Mondays sure are on a roll right now and they're serving us with another selection of slinky tech house beats to soundtrack White Isle hedonism on "Garaldo". Greek producer John Dimas steps up for a remix which is pretty good; minimal, broken, bumping and emotive in a style reminiscent of those Stablo records a few years ago. On the flip the second original track "Machette" is dark, main room tech house with tribal drums and a monster bassline that's perfect for the pre peak-time or sunrise set alike.

Review: "Rituale is a brand new label for 2016 setting off with a beautiful structured EP called (Bury Me Where I Fall) by the talented producer known as G76. This EP is made up with 2 original track's lasting up to a good 16 minuets each. A1 - Youth Riot & B1 - Four For Four. The heart and soul of this EP is represented by the rioting youth struggling for a better future in a society riddled with corruption and selfishness."

Review: Techno legend Colin McBean aka Mr G presents to us young Birmingham producer Jayson Wynters and what a debut this is! Starting out with the minimal and atmospheric dustiness of "Momentum" that's reminiscent of Fred P's finer moments, he gets stuck in with "Unfamiliar Territory" which explores the soulful techno sounds of early 90's Detroit; very nice indeed. On the flip he delves deeper with the bumpy yet emotive "Science" while "More" hammers the message home in even more emotional and bittersweet fashion, calling to mind the classic sound of Prescription Records. Tip!

Track 7
Review: For Those That Knoe is proud to present some of the freshest and timeless sounds the UK has to offer from Numonika, sounding as good now as they would have done when recorded ten years ago. Three tracks from the original demo CD have been selected, compiled, re-mastered and pressed by For Those That Knoe onto a special 12" for collectors and club DJs alike.
In true Knoe fashion, release 4/1 is a compilation of tracks unearthed from a CD squirrelled away for a decade in a dusty loft. The CD in question was loaded with unreleased and untitled material from the owners of and producers for two of the UK's rarest and sought after tech house labels rinsed by DJs such as Craig Richards in the late 90s.

Illuminate (7:55)
Radiate (9:08)
Review: Well there certainly are some killer collaborations at the moment and here's another one to add to the list! Swedish techno legends Aril Brikha (Art Of Vengeance) and Sebastian Mullaert (Wa Wu We) get in the studio to deliver a couple of emotive and soulful journeys through the techno realm. "Illuminate" features some evolving and infectious arpeggiations so typical of Mullaert's work, carried by some nice immersive pads. "Radiate" gets dubbier, this time with a melody more typical of Brikha, backed by a tight, well executed groove. A fine couple of journeys in atmospheric techno indeed.

The Wax (5:28)
Drumcatch (Tomoki Tamura remix) (7:04)
Poetry (5:12)
Drumcatch (5:53)
Review: After the success of the first release by Ivan Iacobucci, Holic Trax sublabel Monoklo now enlists Berlin-based Martin Lewis for three hot tracks featuring a remix from label boss man and Japanese don Tomoki Tamura. No nonsense opener 'The Wax' is a supple, rubbery roller with sparse stabs accompanying the infectious groove. "Poetry" then sinks down into a more warming and human groove, with smeared synths bringing colour and heat to a loose house groove, before Lewis shows his skills at choppy techno with "Drumcatch". Tomoki Tamura also remixes this latter track, stripping it right back to a suggestive, infectious final groove with feather light percussion, skewed chords and involving sub bass that laps at the heels of the track.

Review: Argentinian electro pop duo from Mar del Plata get the remix treatment by the one and only DJ Sneak from Chicago and it's exactly as you'd expect on the "DJ Sneak dub": tracky, percussive and totally funked up house music from the original house gangster! On the flip there's the "DJ Sneak Instrumental mix" which forgoes Mariana Monjeau's vocal samples from the original so you can focus on that infectious groove.

Neptano (7:15)
Dysphonia (7:51)
Review: Barcelona's Chus Duran aka Sonodab has released previously on his own imprint, Fear of Flying and Infuse and now appears with some more dope minimal grooves on Kina. First track is "Neuronal" a raw and subtractive groove reminiscent of Baby Ford or Thomas Melchior. Things get more upbeat on "Foncio" with its swing fuelled rhythm and trippy deep house chords: all that is needed for some serious hypnotism. On the flip are the dark and pumping "Neptano" and "Dysphonia" so paranoid and nefarious and perfect for the after-hours parties at Club der Visionaere or Hoppetosse if you know what we mean.

Review: Long time Kompakt staple Dave DK gets some tracks from his most recent Val Maira album remixed by a who's who of deep house and minimal here. The Isolee remix of "We Mix At Six is the typical quality you'd expect from the Finnish producer who for over 15 years has only just gotten better and better in his pursuits of oddball deepness. The Ulrich Schnauss remix of "Kronsee" is totally sublime and dreamy electronic shoegaze once again from one of the true masters of the style. Finally Portable Sunsets' remix of "Nuova Cancia" sees the Brooklyn duo nail that dreamy and ethereal Kompakt sound perfectly.
